A must have for security
a B&W product that secures your pins for the movable hitch. The hitch can’t be stolen but someone could steal the pins that hold the head in place. Without those pins, your hitch is worthless.A must have for everyone that has the B&W adjustable hitch.

I see what everyone means by plastic. The hook itself is metal but the housing is plastic. Shouldnât cost 40 dollars my opinion 25-30 and maybe make a 50-60 dollar version that is all metal. Nice design though. Keeps all three pins covered on my tow and stow hitch. Nice peace of mind feature too that in case the cotter pins for the pins themselves were to work loose, the pins are held in by this cover.

Wow, I have been a lifetime fan of B&W products and own many of them. Their products are consistently well made with thick, bulletproof steel.Now we come to this abomination. Something purchased to protect and provide theft security of my $400 tow and stow investment. Not going to happen with this product.Nearly all plastic, and being held to a thin piece of metal by 4 small hobby screws. Not kidding. Product will not provide any meaningful security for the pins. A screwdriver could defeat this in a few seconds.B&W prides itself on building their products in the US. Iâd be amazed if this product was made in the US, as it looks like a cheaply designed Chinese plastic product. Even the package omits its manufacturing origin.Also, it is not compatible with a B&W Hitch Silencer installed. B&W would be wise to discontinue this product and design a more robust security cover, especially at the premium they are charging.To add insult to injury, Iâm being forced to pay $16 to send it back.
