Tripod for laptop, or music stand is fine!
Initially I wrote the top plate is wobbly. But, after struggling with it a little bit, I was able to secure it better.Overall I think it is Okay.Other than the part that you need to secure the top plates, the installation was very smooth and easy.Why would anyone need an extended warranty for this item! It is either good or not upon receiving the package. Once you install it, it will not break on its own.

Easy assembly, appears sturdy so far however haven’t placed my laptop on it yet to test it. The phone holder broke when I tried to put my phone in it. The springs popped out and I couldn’t put it back together. But I honestly didn’t tend to use it.

I got this to supplement a standing desk. Now it’s the primary.
I got this to supplement a standing desk, and now I’m using it as my primary portable desk for a 13″ laptop.It’s not really wide enough for more than the laptop unless you’re using something like a trackball. That’s a negative. It really could be about two inches wider and it’d be perfect for that purpose.I like the big wheels, which make it sturdy and fairly industrial. It’s not pretty to look at, so it won’t fit quite right in your living room, but as a temp station in your kitchen, it could be viewed as a functional stand for more modern decor.One of the things I need to have with a standing platform is a lack of wobble. This does the job really well. My old rolling standing desk wobbled pretty badly and honestly it wasn’t really made for wheeling around a workshop. This stand is good for that, so it really pays for itself in productivity in production environments. I do wish there were a more sophisticated single push brake system, but hey… you can’t ask for that kind of stuff at this value level.Overall, this item is a RECOMMEND!
