Compact, Reliable, and Surprisingly Capable for a Mobile Printer
As someone who works both from home and on the move as a Realtor and content creator, this little Canon printer has turned out to be a real asset. It’s lightweight, super compact, and actually fits right in my gear bag alongside my laptop—makes it easy to bring to open houses, client meetings, or even a coffee shop if I need to print on the fly.Setup was fast and straightforward. I normally prefer hardwired connections, but the WiFi printing on this worked smooth. I also picked up the optional battery pack (sold separate), which is really handy when there’s no outlet around. For example, being able to print contracts or flyers in the car or at a remote site—huge bonus.Print quality is very solid for the size. You’re not going to get gallery-level photo prints, but for documents, color flyers, and general use, it looks sharp and professional. Some darker tones aren’t super deep, and photo prints have a little bit of grain, but it’s more than enough for 90% of what I need day to day. There’s also a silent mode if you need it to run quietly.It comes with black and color cartridges to get started, though they’re on the smaller side. Good news is there are plenty of affordable third-party options available right here on Amazon, which makes upkeep a lot easier on the wallet.The OLED screen is a nice touch—it shows ink levels and keeps the controls simple. Only thing I’d say is the price feels a little high, but you’re paying for portability and versatility here, and it definitely delivers on both.If you need a truly portable printer that can actually keep up with your workflow, this one’s a solid choice. I’ve already used it more than I thought I would, and it’s earned a permanent spot in my tech bag.

Basic, but funtional and portable
So this is definitely a more expensive option, but I think this printer has a lot of great stuff going for it. For one, it’s able to make some fairly good quality prints. It’s definitely not able to match a solid photo-quality inkjet printer, but it definitely beats the typical laser printer by a country mile. Also, I think the footprint size makes this a really compelling option for people, like myself, who have limited space in their home office. It doesn’t have a scanner, so they were able to cram some fairly useful features into quite the small package. As for the features, it has wireless printing (no cable necessary, although it does include one if you’d rather have a wired connection), a small OLED display, a silent print setting, an optional connectable battery (for printing on-the-go), an included power cable, and two ink cartridges. The ink cartridges are definitely on the smaller side, so I doubt they’ll be able to print out too many colored prints before running out, but there is a very healthy third party ecosystem here on Amazon, and the prices are very competitive.As for negatives, again the price is a bit of a barrier to entry, but I would argue that it doesn’t quite reach the levels of cost that other competing brands have when it comes to ink. Quality-wise, some of the colors on prints can be a little washed (especially blacks), and photos will be a bit grainy as well. Aside from that, there’s really nothing else to complain about. It’s very basic, but also functional and small, which are all good things. 5/5 stars
