Safer than Using Sterno
I usually use wire racks and sterno to keep food warm during the holidays. This year I thought I would just buy the warming trays, which are safer and easier to use. It is a one time purchase, instead of buying the foil pans and sterno every year. I hate dealing with dumping out the water of the large foil pans. The size I am reviewing is about 24″ x 9″. This fits perfectly on the shelf of my bay window. I figure I can fit 2 13″x9″ pans, with about 2″ over the size of the warming tray. I gave it a 4 only because there isn’t any temperature control, so for consumers who want a choice of heat, best to go with a different size. The tray will heat to 200 degrees. This is fine for me, as I want to keep the food very hot. Also, the food will stay warm after you turn the tray off. I do have other larger warming trays that have temperature control. It is a nice feature, but as I said, I want my food hot.

Easy to use, heats up well, plenty of space as someone who uses plataâs and hot plates all my life the wires always scared me. The whole metal plate thing was always a fire hazard waiting to happen. This amazing easy and portable hot plate solves it all. Canât wait to take it on road trips as well.

Can hold 2 reg size dishes!
I just wish it had temp settings. It’s just an on or off power button. However, it kept the food warm! Loved that it fits two reg. size dishes as well or a super long casserole dish.

doesnât heat up after couple of uses
I used this about 3 times since I bought it (year and a half ago or so) and now just tried to use it for the 4th time and it doesnât even heat up. Itâs totally defective and I probably have no recourse because of the amount of time passed. Donât buy this junkie thing.

I love this thing! Canât believe it actually works. It stores so much better than my other one. Takes up a fifth of the space. Keeps the food warm all day. I use it for Shabbat. Great design!

Funciona muy bien. hace lo que promete, mantener calientes los alimentos, una vez cocinados. Mantiene los alimentos a buena temperatura sin secarlos, ni sobrecocinarlos (creo que no llega a yad soledet). Además cumple porque no tiene perilla para regular la temperatura. Me da la impresión que el consumo eléctrico es bajo. Lo recomiendo mucho.

Overall this product is great. I used it for the first time the other day and it really kept the food warm/hot. It even warmed up a pudding that had been in the fridge. There was no need to microwave it. The only reason it got a 4 star is because I feel it could have been better packaged when shipped, it can get damaged easily.
