Small and Light weight but functional.
It’s a small camera. I wish that it was bigger and heavier, but I’m an old film camera user. I almost want to call it a toy, but it does take pretty good pictures in a square format. The controls are easy enough to use but like I said, I wish it was bigger. It was probably designed to smaller hands ( ad says “fun for boys and girls”). A fun gadget to have to fool around with.

Cute, kitschy nostalgia toy, but makes for a very average camera
So cute. It feels like a dollhouse miniature in the hand. Takes decent photos and good quality video. Sound is a little muffled and I really wouldnât expect to pick up audio over 6 feet away, but itâs serviceable. Honestly, though, your phone is probably a better bet, all around, unless you just want the kitsch aspect.Because the learning curve takes a minute. You can take photos with one button. Change from colour to black and white, which is a nice feature. And you can film while turning the hand crank. This is the hugely broken aspect.Because if you touch the hand crank, it begins to record. Without audio. And the second you stop touching the crank, a 6 second countdown appears on the viewscreen, before stopping the recording. You can continue to record, without audio, if you continue to wind the crank, which makes the entire camera bounce like itâs on rough road, and severely distorting the video; again, without audio. There is a completely separate button to begin video recording, WITH audio, that doesnât require the hand crank, at all. And that one works fairly well, albeit with diminished audio. Also, you canât jack in a USB-C mic into the charge port.Itâs cute, itâs fun and a conversation starter. Itâs eye catching and gives you a cool, nostalgic feel if you use the right buttons and donât have major expectations about resulting quality. It would be a fun gift, and I like the look of it on my bookcase. The price is a little gratuitous, considering the irritation and weak functionality of the crankâwhich is one of the draws for purchasingâand the fact thereâs no case. Iâve had some fun trying to find a case that will suitably fit and protect it. Final decision is up to you. For me, itâs a fun toy; but for a camera, there are so many better options for this price.

Great pics and vintage videos!!
When I first saw this camera I was like how cool is this camera. So I bought it for my daughter as a birthday gift, this past (July). It was an instant hit!!! She loved it and so did everyone else.

Cool nostalgic look, but photo quality lacking
This camera arrived in some really nice metallic packaging. If you gave it as a gift, it would not look out of place. I expected it to be entirely cheap plastic, but there are some metal parts which really help lock in that old camera vibe. I think whoever came up with this idea is a genius. To not only give it the appearance of an old time camera, but to install a winding mechanism that controls the video recording so it looks like the operator is advancing the film manually is top tier.Unfortunately beyond appearance, it falls short. Performance is below even the cheapest childâs digital camera. Thereâs no zoom and no macro feature. Lack of a flash makes photos taken indoors in low light a grainy mess. I went out on a slightly overcast day and took photos of various flowers and plants and though it captured colors well at times, the color is washed out other times. Shiny areas on the tomatoes are replaced by harsh white glare.Operating the camera is awkward. Having the viewer on top takes some getting used to. I had to keep raising the camera to capture what I wanted. Also, itâs too easy to hold the shutter button down too long and start recording video when you only wanted a photo. Video recording worked as expected. Using the winding mechanism makes the camera shake too much so Iâd forego that feature unless you want your subject to look like their navigating a storm on the high seas.Even with these issues, I canât get over how cool this product is and Iâm glad it exists. Iâm sure it will appeal to young and old alike and might even become a popular gift this Christmas.

Itâs tiny. Cute but tiny.
For the novelty of what it is this is a cute little camera that takes decent pictures and it fun to use. It says itâs for kids and if I were a kid getting this I would be overjoyed and a bit overwhelmed. The functionality is easy enough to figure out if you are tech inclined and have experience with the digital cameras of 20 years ago.For what it is itâs a value and if it just a child interested in photography Iâm 100% behind it. For me itâs a reminder of the past and the history of photography.

A fun alternative to snapping pics with your phone
This vintage digital camera has been a fun addition to my photo taking hobby. It captures a sense of nostalgia while still offering the kind of quality and ease that makes it perfect for everyday photography. The image quality is surprisingly impressive, with photos that have good color saturation and detail. Itâs lightweight, easy to carry around, and a great alternative to constantly reaching for your phone to take pictures. You will have to read the instructions but once you get the hang of how it works, youâre all set. If youâre looking for a stylish, reliable option that stands out from the crowd, this one is definitely worth it.
