I was looking for an air purifier with a HEPA filter and I finally chose the Clorox. The model I chose is fairly small and is quiet on settings one and two. It seems like it will be easy to change the filter when the time comes. So far, I have been happy with it.

More dust, Whisper quite did not last
I got this in the middle of my family sharing colds between each member of the family. I was hoping that this would help us clear out the bugs.It gets used only at night while we are in the room.I’m not sure why but it seems like my room has been at least 3 times dustier than it normally is this time of year. The amount of dusting I have had to do has increased severely since this was brought into the room to use. I haven’t noticed any difference in the filter. It looks just the same as it did on day one.It started pit quiet, even on the “turbo” setting. Quieter than our ceiling fan is. After a few months of use it has gotten much louder though. It sounds like a sound machine and does give a white noise type of sound which is nice for sleeping.It blows cooler air that is really nice to assist the air-conditioner in our home. My room is the farthest from the system and normally is fairly warm at night. This little beast of a machine can cool my bedroom in minutes by at least 10 degrees. That is pretty awesome on those really hot nights!For the first month there was no difference in the filter, it looked just the same as it did on day one but after a couple months of regular use in has been showing little dust dots along the screen. It is easy to just vacuum off with the dusting tool on my vacuum though.I’m not sure how well it works with cleaning the air of bugs that cause sicknesses but it barely works on smells. My toddler is still using pull-ups and can stink up the room with this filter going full turbo.It started out quiet, even on the “turbo” setting. Quieter than our ceiling fan. But after a few months and a couple cleanings it is much louder.It has a blue light that automatically comes on when it does which illuminates the area it is in. I’m not a fan of having to turn it off every single time it is turned on.

Room for improvement, but overall still very good!
I really like this air purifier, it seems to be able to filter a lot of air at a relative quiet noise level. The touch buttons at the top of the unit is responsive and easy to use and see. I like to leave it on all day on low while i’m not in the bedroom, then leave it on medium when I sleep to hopefully help me sleep a bit better with cleaner air. Even on medium the noise level doesn’t bother me much, but that could be different for other people. There’s also a TURBO mode, which is unheard of for air purifiers and I was interested in testing it. Basically it amps up the “fan” of the air purifier to what I presume is the max speed of what it’s capable of. While on Turbo mode, this air purifier is louder than most standard fans! I can tell it’s cleaning the air significantly more, but yes you’ll probably want to exit the room lol. There’s a timer for TURBO mode, up to 30 minutes in increments of 10. Beyond the modes, the all white color lookes great and the honey-comb grill to suck in air is a very nice modern touch.Although I do like this air purifier a lot, I do feel like there’s room for improvement for the next iteration. First of all, this air purifier is BIG. It takes up a lot of table-real estate and is quite tall too, so using this air purifier will definitely cost you some space. Because it’s so big, I would have liked for it to be a handle of some kind, whether that’d be a small inlet towards the insides of the unit, or a handle, or just something! Moving this unit will require most people to use two hands, but if it had a handle it’d be possible to carry with one hand and just easier to carry in general. Although this air purifier has a “timer”, the timer is only for turbo mode, not for the regular modes. So if you want the air purifier to turn off in the middle of the night while you sleep automatically like most other air purifiers features, well… this one can’t. And although this fan has a function to remove the light from the buttons for a type of sleep mode, but even when on the lowest light setting, there’s still a single light that’s still on which can be distracting still.Even though there’s some things that prevents this Clorox Air Purifier from being perfect, it’s still a beautiful air purifier that works great. The turbo function and easy to use function makes this air purifier effective and easy to use. Nice work Clorox, 100% recommended.
