Customers say

Customers find the UPS system works well when power fails and offers good value for money, with lots of outlets and effective protection against equipment damage. The battery life and build quality receive mixed reviews – while some report the battery remains strong, others say it stops providing battery time, and while some find it reliable, others report it failing after two years of use. The power level is concerning, with customers reporting that the unit shuts off randomly and fails during power outages.

Great power backup for my NAS and router
I bought this UPS to protect my new Synology NAS, and also the internet router and an Abode security/smart home hub. Today I had the first outage since getting the unit. It worked exactly as expected, keeping my internet and WiFi up, and cleanly shutting down the NAS after 10 minutes of no power. I really like that the unit is low-profile and fits in the small space under the couch where I need it. Highly recommended.

    A sense of security restored!!
This was a replacement for a similar but much older product from the same manufacturer that had failed (the back-up battery was OK, but the product electronics went bad). Installation of this replacement product was easy – just a simple swap-out. Well, that never seems simple when reconnecting and resetting all the attached components, but the added sense of security and reliability along with the updated features of this newer product are well worth it.

Good UPS but Battery Died Early
Have owned and used the CyberPower AVRG750LCD Intelligent LCD UPS System, 750VA/450W, 12 Outlets, AVR, Compact since 4/22/2022, so 3 yrs & 2 months. A few months ago, I had a brownout, and the UPS shutdown. All I had plugged into it were 2 monitors, so I suppose you could say the surge protection worked because the monitors powered up without issue. At the time, I didn’t realize they were plugged into the battery backup ports and should have survived the brownout.I had another brownout today, and the UPS shutdown again with the same result, but this time I realized that my monitors died because the UPS battery is toast. This unit has a 3 year warranty that includes battery replacement, so being 2 months past 3 years, I’m out of luck, but thought I would share this experience so that others can be more prepared to watch for a battery failure prior to the warranty expiration.Prior to this I had a couple of power outages with a desktop PC plugged into the battery side. The UPS performed as expected, so IMHO it’s a good unit with one strike against it: battery longevity. I’ve had other UPSes from Tripplite and APC which performed better in terms of battery life. Good luck out there, gang.

Very high-quality construction and flawless performance.
I just bought a second one of these (CyberPower AVRG900U AVR UPS System, 900VA/480W, 12 Outlets). I bought the first one from Amazon in December, 2023 and a second one in March, 2025. The first one performed perfectly during a power outage and basically in every other way and at all times. So far, the second one is also performing perfectly. I’m very impressed. These are great.

    Good UPS Option
I previously only had experience with a competitor’s UPS product, however they didn’t offer what I was looking for which was a wall mountable UPS with AVR and a replaceable battery. This UPS met the requirements and Wirecutter included it in their other good UPS units list.I’m using it to keep my cable modem, a switch, and a MOCA adapter up in case of a power outage. I haven’t needed it yet, but it had no trouble keeping the equipment up and running when I pulled the plug to test it.My only complaint is that I wish CyberPower would include a wall mounting template and screws, however, it wasn’t hard to make a template myself and I had some extra screws on hand.

Week 1: So far so good.
I purchased a smaller Cyberpower UPS a few years ago to protect a single desktop computer, and it is still working and has done a great job. So I added this unit to protect two additional systems on our network. My installation will draw just under 100w and provide ample time to shut down our systems after a power outage. This is week 1 and I can only provide the following review: The package arrived in a couple days after my order. I followed directions and charged it for 8 hours prior to use, downloaded the power panel management software and plugged in the systems. Everything powered as expected and the software panel provided some great options for power management. I am particularly happy about the integration of Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) in these little units. The email notification was quick and easy to set up — best of all it sent a successful email in a test. I hope that the automated settings in the software will actually work in a real power outage incident, but I’m not given to automatically believing the marketing in the materials. So far so good — another recommend at this point (given my operational requirements).Another reason for writing this review is that I have been disappoined by uninformed and unhelpful reviews for most UPS units while making my buying decision. Specifically, generic complaints that a unit “doesn’t last as long as other units” is arbitrary and unhelpful. This type of review doesn’t indicate the load placed on the unit during power loss. These types of reviews also don’t indicate their operational requirements — do customers use their UPS to give them time for an orderly shutdown or do they continue to use UPS power until the unit runs out of battery power? To make matters worse, other Amazon customers indicate that these general comments are helpful — they aren’t! Nor does anyone take the time to educate buyers that a UPS is not a substitute for a generator. My suggestion before buying a UPS, consider the power draw that will be placed on the unit during power loss, and review your operational requirements after a power loss. And I’ll say it — a UPS is NOT a generator. It’s purpose is to inform you of a power loss and give you and opportunity for an ordered shut down to protect your systems. After a power outage, the purpose of a UPS is not to allow you to continue working until the end of battery life.

Bought this to back up our wireless modem. We have needed it serval times since purchasing. And so far, it has maintained power to our modem/router for the duration of the power outages. As with any battery back-up, you need to ensure you have a large enough battery for the required draw of what you are trying to keep powered.I recommend this product.

hay otras marcas que por el mismo precio te dan más potencia, lo elegí por que el factor de potencia es de 0.6, recuerda que estás agregando costo de electricidad, mientras más eficiente mejor, lo que te ahorres de aparato lo terminarás gastando el luz
