Durable Windows 10 Laptop
I needed a Windows 10 laptop to run very expensive software that was no longer supported by the company. I didn’t want to spend much money as I have a Windows 11 laptop as well as a tablet. I was surprised at the quality of this laptop. I’m so happy that I can continue to use the software which wouldn’t run in Windows 11. This laptop is perfect.

Good Laptop but Windows 10 Pro license was for business or school only – rendering product useless
The laptop was refurbed and in good condition. Problem was that to activate the Windows 10 Pro license, it required a work or school email address / login where the license could be verified. I’m retired and had neither work or school email to provide. So, the laptop was useless to me and I returned it. It should have been made clear in product description that the computer would require a work or school account.

Refurbished Laptp
My computer failed and I needed a replacement but did not wish to spend enough for a new one, or move to Windows 11.I found this Windows 10 Dell Latitude 5580 HD 15.6 Inch Business Laptop Notebook PC refurbished by “tekrefurbish” for $188 on Amazon and ordered it.When I unpacked it, it was very clean — looked new — and, important because I am not good with modern technology, was extremely easy to set up.So it is delightful to have what seems to me like a new computer that does all I need (I’m not into gaming!) easily and quickly, and onto which it was easy to transfer all that I needed from the old one.For me this is a great bargain ð, and I would recommend “tekrefurbish” if you need a replacement for an old friend.

Less than 1 year, it will no longer recharge and is unusable.
Some odd things, the computer was named as if it was a tower, not a laptop, I’m doubtful the refurbishing tech did a good job, looked like it was rushed, a lot of junk files left on it.The strangest thing is, each of the Dell power supplies that have been plugged into this laptop now no longer work and they were being used and working before I plugged this laptop into them. I’m afraid to try any more fearing they will all be ruined. I have bought Dell computers for my last 6 computers. I retired from being tech support/trainer 12 years ago so I’m somewhat knowledgeable, though now way behind times.

Better Laptop Than Expected
Don’t let reconditioned scare you. This laptop looked brand new upon receipt, including the screen. Everything works perfectly. The machine is lightning fast. The I-5 Intel chip will only process Windows 10. So if you want Windows 11, keep looking. And best of all, you have a 90 day return window, so you you can break in the machine with no worries. Installation took less than five (5) minutes.Amazon Technical Support is available 24/7 right from the laptop. I contacted them once after midnight. They didn’t rush me to wrap up. It’s all good! I can highly recommend Amazon reconditioned computers.

This was purchased for my husband, and exceeds my expectations by arriving with both more RAM, and a larger SSD than described, and being spotlessly clean. Everything works so far (haven’t tried all the usb ports or the card reader yet), it connects to a monitor easily, printer, bluetooth, everything works- and it’s very fast because he’s coming from a very old Latitude.I will update this at around 30 days once he’s used it more, but so far, so good.
