Fastest computer that I’ve ever seen.
Looks and performs like new. I use it plugged in so I don’t know about battery life. WiFi is the fastest that I’ve ever experienced. Very pleased with this purchase.

Laptop died after 4 months
I purchased the refurbished laptop back in October 2024. In November 2024 I reached out to the seller because the laptop would not hold a charge. If I took it off the charger it lasted about 30 mins before it died or needed to be plugged in again. Because I was within the 30 days they sent me a replacement battery. Fast forward to February 2025, just 4 months later, the laptop will not turn on, it’s dead. I bought this used laptop because I had previously purchased a used laptop on Amazon and it lasted me YEARS. I reached out to the seller letting them know but their response was “Unfortunately, your order is outside the 90-day repair/replace warranty offered through Amazon’s Renewed Program, and we’re unable to assist further under our warranty terms.” So basically, I just lost out on 100s of dollars. Lesson learned.

I recently acquired a Dell Latitude 7490, and I am pleased to report that it appears to be in excellent condition, likely having been a lightly used office computer. Upon unboxing, the device functioned flawlessly, allowing me to promptly download critical updates and customize it to my preferences.The specifications match those advertised, featuring 32 GB of RAM, a 512 GB SSD, and Windows 11 Pro preinstalled, with all unnecessary bloatware removed by the dealer. Fairly light weight, too! Performance has been impressive, particularly for a generation 8 model, demonstrating a commendable speed during various tasks.One aspect that raised some concern was the migration of my Bitdefender antivirus software. During a deep scan, it revealed that the notebook had previously endured three attempts at malware intrusion. Fortunately, only minimal traces remained, and I was assured that the device is safe for use.Transferring my files was a seamless process, taking just a few minutes. My office suite operates smoothly, and I have found that streaming videos on YouTube delivers a satisfying visual experience. I plan to watch a movie tonight and may update this review based on that experience.The keyboard is slightly smaller than what I was accustomed to with my previous Omen laptop, so it will require some adjustment. I opted to disable the fully functional touchscreen—though it operates well—in favor of a corded USB mouse, which was instantly recognized by the device, as was my old Brother laser printer. Both peripherals performed admirably during testing.While only time will reveal the long-term reliability of this laptop, my initial impressions are overwhelmingly positive. I have not encountered the loud fan noise that some users have reported, even during diagnostic tests. The keyboard offers a pleasant tactile experience, and the backlighting is highly visible. I have yet to assess the battery life, as I typically use laptops while plugged in for extended sessions, but I will do so shortly.Overall, the Dell Latitude 7490 is proving to be user-friendly and efficient, leaving me with little to complain about. However, I also purchased an Assurion four year complete repair or replace money back plan at a modest price, so no worries here!

Excellent selection BUT…
The Dell Latitude 7490. I received look like a new laptop. Everything works great and it’s Speed is acceptable to me. Only concern I have is the battery received with laptop has a diminished life, but I should’ve expected that.A new battery is inexpensive so even with the purchase of a new battery it was an excellent buy
