Works Flawlessly
My 10 year old HP tower PC was too old to upgrade to Windows 11 so I bought this new Dell tower PC. It’s much faster than my antiquated HP and the build quality seems good. I’ve had it a few months and it has worked flawlessly.

Lacking proper accessories
The computer tower is very good and fast with plenty of storage, however they sent the wrong power cord so I had to order my own. The keyboard is flimsy and two keys did not work properly. So I am using my old keyboard. The seller has reached out to us and made a monetary good faith effort to offset our problem situation and we appreciate their prompt response. We are definitely happy with our new computer setup!

Well designed, well made, runs Linux flawlessly.
I bought this PC with the intention of making it a Linux web server. The first thing I did was remove the included 1tb NVMe drive without ever booting Windows. I put in a 2 tb NVMe drive and a 4 tb NVMe drive on a PCIe adapter card from Sabrent. I added an 18 tb 3.5″ SATA hard drive for backup use, then installed AlmaLinux 9.5 which was a piece of cake. I have a second 4tb NVMe stick coming which will replace the 2tb drive used for testing. I took out the included 32 gb of RAM and replaced it with two 32 gb boards for 64 gb total. Yummy!I will be shipping this server to a datacenter in Kansas City that accepts desktop computers. It is an excellent product. The BIOS supports automatic power on after a power failure, and it is a very attractive BIOS on a full HD monitor. It boots very fast, is good value for price. I like the fact that it does not have built in WiFi since in a server that would just increase the attack surface. It does not support PCIe bifurcation so I can’t use a dual NVMe PCIe card, but 8 tb total will be plenty for an old man.

Don’t buy a computer on Amazon!
If I could give 0 stars, I would! This Dell computer is sold and shipped by Azhut Store, part of the Amazon marketplace. I bought one, but when I had trouble keeping the USB wifi adapter connected to my router, I decided to contact Dell customer service. That’s when I found out that Dell thinks this desktop is located in the United Arab Emirates and that I was unable to register my ownership of the computer. The only service options that I was offered were in the UAE or international options, none in the US.I was able to find a number for Dell warranty service on non-Dell website and called in. I spoke with a Dell technical customer service in British Columbia. She said that the computer was registered to Redington Gulf in Dubai, that it originally had a different operating system, and the warranty would expire in December 2025 (I just bought it from Amazon in April 2025). She also said that the normal warranty on these types of computers is two to three years.I put in a return request to Amazon and it was accepted. Now I’m removing all the stuff I loaded on it and have to get it boxed up and returned. What a pain! The attached pic shows that the original computer specs were relabeled, but part of the original label shows the original operating system (Ubuntu), the original warranty (1 year), and the original part of the world in which this computer was intended to be used.Beware – don’t buy computers from Amazon as it doesn’t protect you from shady companies like Azhut!

No Instruction Manual included with purchase
Very Good computer, but I did not appreciate the fact that it did not come with a written set of instruction instruction. How do you know how to set the machine up without them. My old machine was 11 years old. Computer set-up now is waaaaaay different now than then. With my old computer not cost effective to fix, there is no way to get on-line help. Quit being so cheap and penny pinching. Include a booklet Instruction manual. And also, quit changing things just to change it. Change is not better unless there is a good reason for it.
