Unexpectedly Powerful Speakers
Historically I have not been a fan of Dell products but I Love this monitor! It’s nice and bright and the integrated speakers are shockingly powerful. The volume was turned up about halfway by default when I first tried playing some video through it and it was so loud. Make sure you turn the volume down when setting up the first time. You will not need any additional desktop speakers which reduces desktop clutter and cost from extra peripherals.I also love the tiny little joystick navigation nub on the back. Much better than having a bunch of buttons on a monitor or TV trying to figure out which ones to press.I wasn’t sure I’d like the zen sand inspired design but in person it is very elegant and premium feeling. I have mine on a third party VESA monitor arm against a window though so I don’t really get to see the white back. It’s a very minimal monitor from the front.I have been so pleased with this model that I recently purchased a sinilar, slightly smaller model from this line with the same design for a family member based on how much I liked the first one and got to attach the included stand for the first time. It’s a very nice, minimal stand that is sturdy without being bulky or unnecessarily heavy. Some models include an easy height adjustment as well. The base is also a great size for setting their Beelink Mini PC on since the design of the included stand doesn’t allow for vesa mounting a mini computer to the back.The only thing I might change is that the ports are linited with two HDMI and only one Display Port. There’s lots of room in the back panel for an extra spare port or two. You don’t necessarily need them but they’re nice to have if one should fail or if you wanted switch between two DP devices for example.

Sleek, Affordable, and Functional â Perfect for Design, But Could Use a Few Tweaks
I’ve been using this monitor for a while now, and overall, it’s been a really great addition to my setup. Here’s what I love about it:What I Liked:Sleek Design: The monitor looks super stylish, and the white aesthetic is really clean and modern, which fits well with my desk setup. ð¨Affordable: When shopping around, many monitors that looked good were far too expensive, so this was a perfect balance of a great price point and solid performance. ð¸Height Advantage: One of my favorite features is how tall the monitor is. I can easily place my Mac laptop in front of it without needing a stand, and I still have a great view of the screen. This has been super convenient! ð»Good for Design Work: While the visuals aren’t perfect, they’re good enough for design work. I can move designs back and forth between screens, and for most tasks, it’s functional. ð¨What Could Be Improved:Cables Break the Aesthetic: The black cables that come with it detract from the otherwise beautiful white design. If I could change that, I would definitely opt for white cables to keep the look seamless. ð¥ï¸Color Accuracy: As someone who works in design, I can tell that the color accuracy on this monitor isn’t perfect. There’s a noticeable difference in color between my Mac laptop (which has an excellent screen) and this monitor, and it’s not quite as high definition. ðOverall, this monitor has been a great buy for the price. It’s not perfect, but itâs more than sufficient for my needs and looks great in my workspace.

Great monitor for gaming!
Great sound, visuals, refresh rate, and color accuracy. A very heavy and sturdy monitor. The adjustment on the height is very smooth. I think I will purchase a second one! I am using this for gaming on my playstation, I play games like fortnite, sims, mlb the show and this monitor works great! Would recommend.

Video works on a Mac but sound not so much
Purchased the S2725DS for use with Apple Mac Studio M2 Ultra. At under $180 at time of purchase, this display is way cheaper than the Apple version and the Dell stand has height adjustment at no additional cost. Using HDMI, my resolution is 2560×1440 at 100Hz. I am not a gamer so the refresh is good enough. Currently using the Dell S2725DS color profile and it seems OK for photo editing. The sound is good but I cannot adjust volume from the keyboard or Mac desktop. In the Mac sound settings, the output is over HDMI and output volume is grayed out. Using the monitor physical control is way too involved for a quick volume adjustment. That said the level is loud at 1% and only gets very loud. Would be nice if the monitor had dedicated volume up/down buttons. I am using an amp and desktop speakers via the headphone jack so the monitor sound issues are not a deal breaker for me. Dell support website shows no drivers and software for Mac OS. The Apple App Store shows no Dell software. So I am giving this 4 stars as it is a decent display but the sound is not Mac OS compatible.

Canât complain, I have two 1440p and a 3rd same line but 4k. Works great on my Mac mini 2024.Youâll want a 3rd party app for monitor/dim/sound control. The extra USBs work great. Youâll have to combine the audio source in the midi app for full usage of the speakers. the white back gives it an extra touch of classiness.The only thing Iâd want more is power over usb, two (power+video) wires is better than 3 i suppose.

Beautiful monitor, stellar resolution. I was looking for a new screen to complete my WFH arrangement that was adjustable to avoid neck and shoulder kinks. I originally thought it had a steel back based on the pictures but it’s in fact white plastic. Was a bit disappointed about that but not as much of an eyesore as I thought it would be. Warms up the space nicely. Very happy with my purchase.
