Exceed expectations
Surprisingly good for the price. This drone is lightweight, easy to fly, and the battery lasts longer than expected. The camera isnât top-tier, but itâs more than enough for casual use. Setup was simple, and controls are responsive. Great for beginners or just having fun. I didnât expect much, but it honestly exceeded my expectations.

Great introductory drone – to learn on
Bottom line, itâs a great little drone to learn how to fly drones on. It has a lot going for it – itâs cheap, has a ton of features, and works. It follows standard controls, so apps that help teach you to fly drones work. It has a screen that shows what the camera is seeing, and if you use it – its own app that sends that to your phone. It packs away easily in a well thought-out case.Butâ¦there are some drawbacks. The camera is a POTATO. I tried to get a good look at my roof – you can see the pics. The pixels are larger than my shingles. A good gust of wind will send it packing – quickly. The instructions are printed so small that I literally had to scan the pages and print them out on full-sized paper in order to be able to read them. The charging ports for the batteries are micro-USB, but the controller is USB-C? Really? No consistency? When the air is calm it does fly, and it flies well. The camera does see (generally, it needs LASIK), and the controls are easy to manage. Itâs made rather cheaply but the materials fall in line with its price. It saves pics and video to a micro-SD card (that it came with) even though those pics have all the JPEG.Honestly, itâs a great little drone to learn onâ¦before you get a higher quality one.

Up, Up, and (Almost) Away!
I’m no drone pro – I’ll happily admit – but I’m plenty tech-savvy and was excited by the idea of capturing cool aerial shots and videos. This drone seemed like the perfect way to dip my toes into the hobby and maybe build a few flying chops along the way.So, howâd it go?Let’s start with what I liked. Right out of the box, this kit covers pretty much all the bases. Itâs comprehensive enough that you wonât need to immediately go shopping for accessories. Launching was surprisingly straightforward – even a greenhorn like me got it airborne with minimal fuss. The extra battery was a huge plus – double your flight time, double your fun, right? Also, everything neatly packs into a sturdy hardshell case, so transporting your new flying buddy is no sweat. Stability-wise, except for a few gust-driven wobbles, the drone generally behaved itself and mostly went where I pointed it.But it ainât all smooth flying. My biggest gripe is with the phone mount. Itâs literally just about 1/8″ too narrow for my iPhone in its protective case, which meant pulling my phone out of the case every time I wanted to use the app. And wouldn’t you know it, this is the second drone I’ve encountered with this exact malady. Plus, the overall feel of the kit definitely leans more toy-like than tech-tool – a tad disappointing given the price. And now, buckle up for the ugly. Instructions – or more accurately, the serious lack thereof – are this droneâs Achillesâ heel. Thereâs a cheat sheet card with basic functions, but good luck with that since all the abbreviations are in Mandarin. Beyond that, youâre basically flying blind. Seriously, a quick-start video online wouldâve been vastly better than the sparse materials included.Summary:Solid drone for beginners in concept, decent stability, and well-organized kit – but expect frustrations around phone compatibility and instructions.Pros:â Comprehensive, ready-to-fly kitâ Easy launching, even for newbiesâ Extra battery includedâ Handy hardshell carrying caseâ Reasonably stable flightCons:â Phone holder incompatible with phone case (just barely!)â Feels a bit too toy-likeâ Instructions severely lackingâ Mandarin abbreviations on the provided quick-start cardð©ï¸ Verdict:Great potential, but hampered by avoidable frustrations – best suited for patient beginners ready to troubleshoot.âââ (3 stars)

Surprisingly nice drone for starters
This drone kinda surprised me but then again, I’ve never used a drone before. The picture quality is pretty good and the drone is really responsive. It comes with a spare battery for being able to hot swap on the go, too. Really simple and responsive controls, so for the price it is great for a hobby enthusiast.

Very disappointed in the user experience
Deeply disappointed by this drone. The remote doesn’t seem to be responsive at all when attempting to direct the drone. It crashed at least 4 times in 30 minutes, and i don’t believe it’s 100% due to me being a novice. Sure, part of it likely is, but the remote just did not seem to respond. At one point i literally had to chase it across the street, until it eventually hit a curb. Nothing i did could make it stop, or change direction.I’m going to keep trying, but in a much larger area, with no walls, roads, or cars. But it needs to be flat land, because the drone is highly unpredictable. I was so excited to receive this drone and am extremely dissatisfied with the user experience. If i can get it to operate properly, I’ll come back and update my review with tips. Until then, i cannot rate this product well, as it is practically unusable so far.
