Easy set-up
Pros – This unit set up easily and quickly. The plus itself feels solid enough and everything operates as expected. Also, the USB devices are addressable – I figured it would only be the outlet itself, so this is a nice add.Cons – I don’t love the app that’s required for set-up. While it works fine, and enabled integration with my ecosystem, I would prefer a different platform. Still a good product though.

Quick setup
This was quick and easy to set up. I already had the Smart Life app because of an alarm clock I use. It was simple to add this plug and then integrate it into my Alexa app. Now I can just speak my lights on as one lamp is attached to this plug and another to an Amazon smart plug. What I didn’t realize is that each outlet on this device (one plug and 2 USB) can be individually controlled. Excellent device.

It’s big!
I already had a few smart home products that use this app, so installation took less than a minute – a pleasant surprise! I confirmed that each outlet is individually controllable in-app. My biggest issue is the size. It’s really quite big. I suppose something that powers two ports and a 3-prong outlet would have to be, but if I had to have this somewhere visible I might look for another product. I will say though, despite it’s big size it is at least large in the correct direction – meaning the size of the object manages to leave access to the other outlet on your wall plate without any issue.

They seem to have update the description at the top of the page but 16A/3500W is still declared in other areas. After running this for the summer, the relay controlling plug (with our air conditioner) began to stick and not respond to “off” commands. Giving the unit a sharp tap would unstick it, so something is going wrong in there.Original:I was excited to see this 16 amp capable smart plug, as I’ve been wanting a way to control our large window air conditioner. This A/C requires a dedicated circuit, and pushes the envelope of a 15A breaker, often tripping it when the compressor kicks in and it momentarily surges past 15A, so we have ours on a 20A circuit. Most smart plugs top out around 10-12A which wouldn’t work with “The Beast”.Which leads me straight to the major con for this product: despite claiming 16A, the marketing photos AND the sticker on the product itself both state this is only 10 amps (see photo of the plug I received).That said, I decided to take one for my fellow Amazon shoppers and try it anyway and hope it wouldn’t burn down the house. After installing the AC for the season, I plugged it in and fired it up. Initially all seemed well, but then the AC sputtered out (beeped, display went dark, everything shut down). However I noted that the plug’s LED was still it, and then the AC came back on. Since then over many tests of the plug, this did not occur again, and so far the plug does seem to live up to its claim of 16A despite the labeling.This is a glaring error though, and I am docking 2 stars though until a clarification from the mfg and/or they update their ratings.Beyond this, it’s a solid plug. The 2 USBs and the main outlet are each individually controllable though the SmartLife app (you could use Tuya as well if that’s what you prefer). Integrates perfectly with Alexa through the SmartLife skill.How well it holds up under the strain of The Beast cycling its compressor in hot weather remains to be seen. Will update my review when necessary.
