Great customer service and ebike for the price.
Firstly, the customer service (CS) provided by this company is top-notch! I was planning a trip with the family and wanted to bring ebikes with us. We had rented some on other trips and found them so much fun that I decided to purchase them before this trip. I was specifically looking for something relatively compact and these fit the bill.I had planned to buy multiple but wanted 1 to test before purchasing the rest. The issue was I decided this only 3 weeks prior to the trip. I reached out to customer service prior to buying the 1st one and they assured me we could make it work. I received the 1st bike 7 days later.Unboxing and putting together was really easy, even by myself. I think anyone that’s able to lift 50 lbs or so can also easily do it alone. To my surprise, it also came with a multi-tool kit and therefore no additional tools were needed! Also not readily apparent during purchase is it comes with a keyed bike lock (with mounting bracket) and basket for the front.As others have reviewed here, mine also arrived with the bottom battery housing broken (picture attached). I reached back out to CS and within hours received a reply stating that a new housing had been ordered and will be shipped from China. While the broken housing didn’t prevent operation, it did allow the battery to shake and rattle while riding. Placing a kitchen cleaning sponge under the battery before locking it into place was a great temporary fix (picture attached).The battery likely came with some charge because it took less than 2 hours for the initial full charge (indicated by the red light turning to green on the charging power brick).Initial test went great so I quickly ordered 2 more in hopes they would arrive before our trip. They also arrived within about 5 business days.We only got to ride them a couple days on our trip, but they were fun! It really felt like riding a motorscooter more than an ebike.On one day we rode around an entire college campus, stopping at several locations. This was in the mountains of NC so we had a few hills to climb. Iâm 5â9â & 180lbs and only had to help the bike get up 2 of the steeper hills. After the college tour we took the bikes to a nature trail and rode there for a couple more hours. In all, we racked up right at 20 miles over a 5 hour period, up and down several hills, and my battery indicator only lost 2 of the 5 bars. Note, this was almost entirely on throttle alone, which brings me to the 1 issue I have with this ebike and believe that many ebike riders would want to know. The pedal assist system or (PAS) is relatively useless (unless climbing a steep hill).There are 3 electronic speed settings, M1, M2, and M3. M1 being the slowest which will get you up to about 15mph on a flat surface. If the bike is on then it must be in one of those settings. When you begin to pedal it will kick in almost immediately and even on M1 it quickly gets faster than you can pedal (given that thereâs only 1 physical gear on the bike). The result is a jerky feeling of on-off electric mode. Therefore we found the best way to ride the ebikes was throttle only and would only pedal when it slowed to less than 5mph on an incline.Summery with some pros and cons:Pros:1. Low price2. Excellent customer service3. Compact design, can fit in the trunk of most cars.4. Was able to maintain 20MPH on a flat road for over a mile.5. Comes with lots of extras, phone holder with built-in charging USB port is a plus!Cons:1. The pedal assist system or (PAS) is relatively useless (unless climbing a steep hill).2. Slightly more difficult to control steering than a full-size bike. Felt the need to be more cautious when riding with one hand and wouldnât even attempt to let go of the bars altogether.3. Battery housing must be a flawed design, it was broken on all 3 of the bikes I ordered.Note, the new battery housing was delivered as promised while we were still on the trip. CS has also confirmed that the other 2 are on the way. I havenât installed it yet, the sponges seem to be working well.– Update June 2023: They also work well on the beach (moist packed sand).

Super Fun, Super Fast and Super Easy to Deal With–Pleasantly Surprised!
I had reservations about this e-bike, but, after about 3 months of looking on Amazon, this model kept coming up better in the reviews than the others. On top of that, there are quite a few “ride_along” videos on YouTube featuring this model and I watched all of them. Keep in mind, I just recently sold a HUGE fat-tire full size e-bike that was TOO big and TOO heavy to deal with. I wanted something smaller that I could maybe fit in my mini SUV. I started then to look for these folding bikes, and again, this one kept coming up. I was hesitant about mail ordering it due to damage, etc., but, alas–the bike came today in the pouring rain and in a sturdy cardboard box. I have included photos of the bike the moment I slid it out of the box. No damage whatsoever. I timed myself putting it together and it took me about 30 minutes. The only aggravation was the handlebar needed to be straightened (a point mentioned in all of those youtube videos), which I finally got just right. I’m not sure about the seat yet–I just took it for the first ride around the neighborhood (1 mile) and the seat feels weird since it is basically on the end of a spring. The front forks with the shocks worked perfectly. I was only on the first speed (M1) and the little bike absolutely TEARS through the neighborhood. The other complaint was that this is not a pedal bike–and I agree–exactly what is said here and on the videos–it is way better to ride with the throttle and forget the pedals. However, one video review said if you concentrate on the cadence of the motor and pedalling, there is a sweet spot on the first speed that you can actually pedal and the bike will stay in the right speed so that you can actually pedal and use the pedal assist. If you bought this bike for real pedal assist that is found on the larger bikes with multiple gears (sprockets), you will probably be disappointed. It can be done, but, you are going to have to practice a bit to figure out that cadence. Again, this tiny bike only has one gear in the back, so there is no “speeds” as found on normal bikes or larger e-bikes. I do miss this from my previous bike, but, with all the extras that this one has, I can make it work. The bike is truly TINY and for someone 5 feet or taller, you will feel a bit cramped on it. It does fold up (haven’t tried that yet). Build quality so far is amazing–no issues. Brakes are spot on. There’s a phone holder with a USB port! The removable battery is huge and it does take awhile to charge–do it overnight. If you are in the city or on a campus, this thing is going to be game-changing for you. I have only taken it out for a mile, so, I cannot talk about battery or range, but, watch any one of the videos on YouTube and they talk about that quite a bit. I would suggest a helmet at all times–it can be jerky when you are trying to pedal assist, and when it gets going at full speed, I would NOT want to fall off of it. There is a little alarm system on it (which isn’t talked about in the horribly sparse instruction booklet). It has front and back lights, and even turn signals. There are also 2 screw posts in the top tube for screwing in accessories. There’s a small seat on the back, but I would not see how anyone could possibly fit on it. I would just get a rear deck that screws onto the seat post (and covers up the small seat) so that you can put a rear bag on it. Overall, I found it for $100 off, so I had to finally jump on it. I will adjust this posting if needed with further thoughts, but, in the meantime, go search for this exact model on YouTube and watch all of those videos–it was those videos that pushed me to purchase.
