Hereâs a casual, genuine-sounding review for that outdoor power strip:—I bought this power strip to run my outdoor TV setup, and itâs been awesome so far. I was a bit worried about rain and weather since itâs outside, but this thing handled a couple of light showers without any issues. The waterproof rating seems legit.

Definitely recommend
I am always skeptical even after reading lots of reviews but this outdoor power strip works great and is of good quality materials. I bought it to power my gazebo lights and ceiling fan. The first day the new gazebo was assembled, I didn’t have the energy left to attach the power strip with heavy-duty Velcro to the vertical support leg, so I just left it laying out. Of course, we had torrential rains overnight. The next day, I literally poured the water out of the power strip and left it to drain for a few hours. Later, I plugged everything in and it worked great! I also like the convenience of switching all power off quickly if I don’t want to mess with remotes. I would definitely buy this product again.

We used one of these for our outdoor water fountain. One night the sprinkler system malfunctioned and the power strip got soaked by the spray. It had turned itself off. i unplugged everything, let it sit for a day to dry, plugged it back in and it all worked great!!

Not sturdy or weatherproof
I bought this for a simple garage use for plugging a few things in. Might get a splash of water from the ground or what have you. I can say it is not shock proof, it knocking against the ground or wall from 1ft just by brushing against it and it split in two. This exposes live electrical connections that can easily electrocute you and are certainly not waterproof.I am sorry but a $2 generic powerstrip is going to be more sturdy. I find it funny several other reviews complain about it breaking down the middle from weak screw connections :*) one literally says they were electrocuted from the same issue, but the company gave them another one so 5 stars.*) Another says complete junk split in half then says company gave them another one 4 stars*) 1 says it worked in the first rain but not the next downpour 4 stars ????In what world is 50% an acceptable electrocution hazard on a powerstrip, much less one that advertises being “shockproof”.There are 8 reviews shown for the product main page, 3 the above reviews, two negative reviews, one person using it inside a sealed waterproof box. This is not a very good track record.There is no way I would use another one of these.

Updated review: I posted my original review and the company contacted me and sent me a replacement that works great. Good customer service seems like a rare commodity these days so worth doing business with companies that stand behind their products.Original review: The back came off as I was plugging it in/ plugging cords into it. Got a pretty good shock from my fingers contacting the wires inside. Yikes. I was putting it into a waterproof box so went ahead and used it but very disappointed with the quality.

very dissatisfied and would like to send it back. It simple does not work. The outllets are too large for the plugs and the lights go off and on, very unhappy with this. Do not buy it. Please tell me how I can get my money back and not pay shipping for such an inadequate product.
