Great Product
First time to look into these switches didnât even know they existed until I had to find some other source to connect lighting and fans to WiFi with no ground or neutral wire. Bought one to test out on a fan light for my daughter. Hooked up extremely easy and used an existing app Iâm familiar with that has some of my other more challenging devices on. Works amazing! Iâm already getting a couple more sent out to me. I want my whole home controlled by Alexa. Iâm 95% there! Great simple product. My only suggestion allow me to either change the picture attached to the switch in Smart Life app or change the image from a pic of the switch to a 1D pic of a light switch.

Super Easy
This device work with the smart life app. I use this app for many items in our home. I was amazed that after hooking up this device I opened my app and it showed up. Virtually no setting up needed. This unit controls the master switch on our buildingâs boiler. Since Smart Life is the only app that I can find that can use weather as a trigger, I am thankful for it. Now I donât have to fire my boiler up full time as we have wide variations in weather in the spring and fall. Letâs see how much energy this saves us.

Little bulky
Represents a little challenge to make it fit in spaces that weren’t built for it, but considering the features it’s worth the eventual modification. Performance it’s great. Connectivity was not as easy as other same features devices, but it is related to application that controls them. They are not listed!. So you need to try different similar devices until you find the one that connects. It is a waste of time actually, however since they work as expected I’m ok with this product.

Wayy too large, but it works
The physical size of this thing is ridiculous.. no way to fit it into a single gangbox along with switch.. ended up putting it into a 3-gang box and it barely fit. Thats the reason for 3 stars. Other than that it works well. I wired it into a 3-way switch that controls a dimmer for the kitchen lights.Another negative it that it requires you to push a button on it to initiate it for WiFi while the wires are live, which is a bit dangerous.

“Check Device Network” function in app is a red herring.
Installed easily and hooked up to the app without any issues. Then the frustration set in. It would not connect to Alexa even though I properly loaded the Smart Life App to Alexa. The Smart Life app said the network connection was bad. After several complaints to the help line I found out that the “Check Device Network” function in the app doesn’t work at all so it was not a network issue! Finally, in desperation, I disabled the app in Alexa and then re-enabled it. It then found the device and started working. Hint for the manufacturer, if a diagnostic in you app doesn’t work — take it out! Otherwise it is great!

I use these devices in the house, in the pool vault and in the chicken house too. Both 110 & 220 volt applications. Easy to configure and easier to manage. There are a myriad of options and ways to use. If you have a smart switch need, these will meet that need.

I picked this brand because it used SmartHome App. I have six external smart plugs using the same app. Didnât want to have separate app just for this plug. I installed it to schedule/ turn on and off a ceiling fan. Wiring was simple using the provided connectors. Picked up and connected to my WiFi on fist try. Works great via the app, and Alexa.The only heck up I had installing was that I had to replace the existing single gang box in the wall with a double gang, as the unit would not fit.Update Jan. 2023: after nearly four years, it is still working flawlesslyâ¦
