So far so good
The only thing I would change is the internal connections. But that is a preference of mine. This was a great way to add a GFCI outlet under the eave and still maintain my flood light. Add to it the pass through AND Alexa compatibilityâ¦winner!

Great Retrofit Kit!
Great kit! I was able to easily add 2 outlets to my patio where there was no power before and maintain the light. In the past we had to use a socket to outlet adapter it that had limitations like loosing the light and not having a ground plug. This adds 2 fill GFI plugs which are great! The ability to connect to google home and set schedules is a nice plus.

Delivered used. Missing parts.
This outlet adapter was delivered used, dirty and missing parts.The instructions are crumpled and smudged. The box is missing the mounting bracket, the gasket, 4 out of 8 mounting screws, and 4 out of 8 hole plugs.The wire shield covering the receptacle is crooked and doesnât look to be properly installed. Being a used item, I have no idea if the receptacle comes preinstalled or not.The wires are frayed and twisted together and I found a random white glove not mentioned anywhere in the instructions.

Not worth the money.
This outlet box is at best, OK. Full disclosure i returned the item. I’m giving 2 stars for the item as it’s good as it attempts to solve a problem but design and quality hinder this badly.It box is of cheap quality, the mounting for the box is absolutely abysmal you attach it like you would a light fixture and then screw the outside of the box to your house to hold it strait. If they used a circular mounting plate built into the box you wouldn’t have 2 huge tabs hanging out with screws holding the box but instead use the mounting holes on the inside of the box.For a black box, having a white foam weather protector that’s visible after mounting seems super odd. And looks cheap.This box incorporates some weird wifi system which is unnecessary and just brings the cost of the product up. It also forces you to wire the system in so you can wire the GFCI outlet which again is not my favorite. I just wanted a box that I can simply wire a GFCI outlet in. Nothing more.There is some other build quality stuff I won’t bore you with but the jist is the box is just cheaply made, costs an absolute fortune for what you get, and is just ok… for me ok wasn’t enough for me to keep it and I looked for other alternatives.
