Revolutionary design – QuickFit and SimpleWire technologies offer groundbreaking home automation features. Unique advancements make the smart controls easier to install and more reliable than ever.
QuickFit – Improved components reduced the housing depth by up to 20% compared to previous Z-Wave models and eliminated the need for heat tabs. QuickFit enhancements are the ideal smart solution for older-style switch boxes, multi-gang configurations or any other application with limited space.
SimpleWire – Patented auto-detecting line/load terminals support fast installation by identifying line and load wires and configuring the switch accordingly. Dual ground ports, which are offset to avoid switch box mounting screws, support daisy-chaining in multi-switch setups.
Voice control – Enjoy the convenience of voice control with Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa when connected through a compatible Z-Wave hub.
Switch upgrade – Easily replace any standard in-wall switch equipped with a neutral wire to remotely turn ON/OFF and create schedules for a wide range of fixtures.

Installation can be a little tricky but it works like any other smart switch
This Enbrighten Ad-on switch is very useful if you would like to control your smart switches from multiple locations. The QuickFit design makes it easier to get it installed because it’s 20% smaller and there are not any annoying break-off tabs like the older models.1. INSTALLATION – it’s very important to note that you MUST have a Neutral cable in your electrical box for this Ad-on switch to work, otherwise it will not work. The package comes with detailed instructions in english and Spanish so make sure you follow along. I’m not an electrician but I’ve switched plenty of switches in the past so I didn’t find it difficult to install, but your mileage may vary.2. COMPATIBILITY – I’ve only used this switch with GE/Enbrighen switches, but you can use this ad-on switch to compliment another Enbrighen/GE Zigbee, Z-wave or Wi-fi switch. This Ad-on switch will not work by itself so you have to use another main switch.3. USABILITY – Use this switch to control Smart Lights, Ceiling Fans or Pumps. It’s a toggle switch, so you gently press it once to either turn on/off the lights and keep the toggle pressed to dim/brighten the lights.I use SmartThings to control my main switch and it works perfectly fine, so as long as your Main switch is paired with a hub, then you should not have to do any additional configuration for the Ad-on switch.

    Works with Inovelli Matter switches
I used this as an extension/remote for a Inovelli Matter switch. Works without issues. I wasn’t able to get a standard switch working despite trying various wiring combinations and settings. I believe the firmware was updated on the Inovelli White switches since then and might have better settings now that could work with traditional switches. This was a fairly low cost option to solve my problem and dimmer seems to work as well.

Great deal for a z wave switch
This is a great z wave switch and is a good value for the money. It paired easily with my 2 gig arm panel and now controls lights when I arm and disarm the alarm. It was easy to install, but note that it does need a neutral wire. Most modern homes have this so it wasn’t a big deal for me. I also ended up having to swap out the switch next to this one for a decor style paddle, and I had to get a new plate But after installed, it looks really nice.

These work great but seem to fail around the 5 year mark
I have installed 7 of these in my home. I like them a lot but they do seem to fail on around the 5 year mark. I just bought this one to replace one just like it that failed. The latest one I could see the blue LED turn on/off when I triggered it from the phone app so I know it was communicating but there was no ‘click’ sound and the light would not turn on and off. I’m guessing some kind of mechanical relay failed.

    Great Stateless Paddle Switch
This was very easy to install. I typically avoid this price point for switches and typically use relays within the electrical box on standard switches. However, this can lead to awkward situations with multi-gang switch boxes where one paddle switch is up and the other is down. Since these switches have no ‘state’ and operate as two individual buttons, you always know that clicking UP turns the light on and clicking DOWN turns the light off. There is no dimming ability, but should fit any standard switch box. Nice quality feel, but there is a short delay between interacting with the switch and having it turn the light on or off. This is typically true of any smart switch though.

    Make your house smarter…
I’ve installed 50+ of these at multiple locations. They are my go to for smart switches. Easy enough to sync with your smart hub. generally speaking, the one drawback is that they occasionally fail when their are line issue/glitches/surges. I have 8 running in my own home at the moment. Would buy again

Great Product, that does not last
As a consumer who has invested in home automation technology, I regret to say that my experience with the Enbrighten Z-Wave In-Wall Smart Light Switch with QuickFit and SimpleWire has been disappointing, to say the least. Despite its promises of convenience and efficiency, I’ve found myself needing to replace these switches far more frequently than anticipated. One of the primary issues I’ve encountered with these smart light switches is their durability, or lack thereof. Despite being touted as long-lasting and reliable, I’ve found that the switches tend to malfunction or fail altogether after just a couple of years of use. Whether it’s a sudden loss of connectivity, unresponsive controls, or complete system failure, the reliability of these switches leaves much to be desired.Furthermore, the need for frequent replacements adds up in terms of both time and money. Not only am I forced to spend additional funds on purchasing new switches, but I also have to invest valuable time and effort into uninstalling the old ones and installing the replacements. This becomes particularly frustrating when considering the initial investment made in setting up and integrating these smart switches into my home automation system.Additionally, the installation process, while marketed as simple and straightforward, can be cumbersome and time-consuming, especially when dealing with replacement switches. The promise of QuickFit and SimpleWire features falls short when faced with the reality of compatibility issues and the need for additional adjustments and troubleshooting.Overall, I cannot in good conscience recommend the Enbrighten Z-Wave In-Wall Smart Light Switch with QuickFit and SimpleWire to other consumers. While the concept of smart home technology is undoubtedly appealing, the lack of reliability and longevity exhibited by these switches ultimately outweighs any potential benefits they may offer. Until significant improvements are made in terms of durability and performance, I would advise exploring alternative options for home automation needs.
