Camera kept dropping wifi connection showing offline until I power cycle it.
First, it does not work with Alexa and Google Home. I bought the two pack and one camera worked great. The other one was constantly dropping off my network. I switched locations for both, problem followed the camera. I reached out to support and returned as an RMA. I was told that support did not see an issue but also did not offer a solution. They simply kept the camera. They did not offer an exchange, replacement, return or refund. Do not buy this camera or do any business with Energizer. Waste of money but more importantly a waste of time.Update, the second one also no longer works as well .

Be aware of your light bulb socket system.
If you climb up to your Porch ceiling and remove the light bulb and put in the camera be prepared to leave your light switch on 100% of the time. Bummer if you have 2 lights on your porch. This dawned on me as I read all the details – kind of think through it.

Cannot remote access the camera to restore if it goes offline.
If the camera goes offline, you can not restore it remotely.

I returned them. When connecting the item I noticed I was giving a company in china permission to my information. It didnât feel right so I returned them.

2K Video is the way to go
I previously used the 1080P pan and tilt (P/T) camfrom energizer and this 2K model is a great upgrade. It’s important to note that the different energizer camera models are flashed with different ROM versions, which gives additional features and functionality when using the energizer app, this camera has a different ROM version than the 1080P version. Same thing with the energizer 2K doorbell cam and the 1080P doorbell cam . Also , I like the black P/T camera version better than the white ones as it’s more camouflaged at night. I can easily view my Michigan countryside cottage real time from over 1000 miles away in Texas! The 2K P/T Camera also has a “human body motion detection feature” with real time notifications that is not included in the 1080P P/T cam. It’s another awesome upgrade from the 1080P P/T cam. Using the energizer app, I can easily rotate the P/T cam’s field of vision, and see everything I want to see up in Michigan. It’s very cool and I really like it!
