I was able to install it for my daughter’s room. The control capability is perfect and it works really well.

Works as expected, but low quality
The switch feels pretty cheap when. Also, I wish the scale was flipped. The high speed is the first click, and you have to slide it all the way to the top for low. I wish it was the other way around

Its firm sequencing works much better for speed selection of my ceiling fan, than the odd, rheostat-type light switches left by the builder. Only problem is the ass-backwards arrangement of speeds. Not – off – low – medium – high, as expected, but, off – high – medium – low.

Spend $10 more and get the better one!
I bought this fan speed control a couple years ago for a room I hardly use. I used the room this week for a guest and the plastic switch broke(see other reviews and photos). You are much better of buying the Lutron fan speed control (Lutron Electronics Co. SFSQ-F-WH Skylark Fan Control, White) for $30 on Amazon. Same basic design but the switch is metal. And Lutron has been around for years.

Works but feels like its cheaply made
The switch sticks going up and down and it feels like poor quality. The speed scale is flipped making the high speed the first click. In order to turn it to low, you have to slide the switch all the way to the top. It seems reversed and should have been the other way around! Not impressed with the quality. I don’t expect this to last.
