Kickstand works well, easy to install, keyboard and trackpad work to
I found this case and keyboard combination easy to use, not as heavy as the Typecase I used before. Since I use it at the kitchen table every day, I leave it charging, and when I have breakfast, I swing the keyboard behind the screen and open the kickstand. One thing to note is that the keyboard faces down in that scenario, so I placed a paper towel under it to prevent it from picking up food crumbs. No one likes crumbs in their keyboardð

Still getting used to having a keyboardâ¦
Not yet, Iâm still getting used to it. Iâve spent 12 + years without a keyboard attached and so itâs a new concept to me and at 67 iâll get around to it. Fortunately, it is detachable and that allows me to get used to it.Bluetooth connectivity was seamless; keyboard quality seems to be fine and I like to feel; the magnetic strength is that a good, maybe even a bit much; it was perfect when I needed to disconnect, and the keyboard is easy to use. Weight is negligiblecompared to some of the heavy drop proof cases Iâve had.I can give it a five after Iâve had it a year and itâs still working fine.

The affordable option
I desperately wanted a keyboard for my IPad, but the main options out there were just so expensive. I donât typically order electronics on Amazon anymore so I was apprehensive about getting something that was a poor knockoff or dropshipped item. I have been pleasantly surprised with the ease of use this keyboard has brought me. I have the amazing battery power of an iPad but it acts like a laptop with this keyboard allowing me a versatility that canât be found with most laptops which need to be plugged in after a short period. When I first powered it on I was worried it was bad because my iPad was not locating the Bluetooth signal. If you come across this issue I found that doing a factory reset, even though the keyboard is brand new, allowed my iPad to find it instantly and allowed me to pair without issue after I reset the keyboard. Other than that I really appreciate the backlit keyboard and the ability to use it in a dark room that the other options just didnât seem to have for a fraction of the price. I am so glad I made the purchase it was the best accessory I could have bought to go along with my iPad.

My new favorite case!
I purchased this keyboard case for my iPad Pro M4 13.The case fitment is perfect. It has a soft-touch finish throughout most of the case which makes it feel premium. When the keyboard is attached and closed against the iPad, the iPad goes to sleep, pausing whatever you were doing â just like the Apple variant. There are two parts to this case: The iPad case and the keyboard. There is no hinge on this case, it attaches to the iPad case using magnets within a thick flexible fabric, it does not attach to the iPad with magnets. It is because of this that you will need to use the built-in âkick standâ on the iPad case to keep prop it up for use. This is fine in most cases, but anytime you want to use this as a laptop replacement, you will need a hard surface or a steady pair of legs to prop it up on.There is an elastic pouch on the back of the iPad case that will hold your Apple Pencil. It fits my Apple Pencil Pro and my Apple Pencil 1st Gen fine, one at a time (I only tested the 1st Gen for fitment, I use the Apple Pencil Pro for my drawing and work). There is also an indent on the top of the case so you can attach the Apple Pencil Pro for charging, and the indent is thin enough that the Apple Pencil Pro remains firmly attached. The elastic pouch for the Apple Pencil is on a little flap that I couldnât find a use for. It took me longer than I care to admit realizing you flip the larger flap up almost completely and use the smaller flap to prop the iPad Pro up for table-top or lap use (without the keyboard).Since the keyboard connects via Bluetooth, you can detach it from the iPad, prop up the iPad on a nearby surface and use the keyboard âwirelesslyâ. This makes using the iPad significantly more comfortable, given its massive size and hefty weight when in a case. The keyboard charges using USB-C. You can attach the included USB-C to USB-C cable from the keyboard to the iPad Pro for charging, but mine kept disconnecting and giving me accessory errors. I believe my cable was faulty because I used another cable I already have, and it worked fine. There is an on/off switch on the keyboard, but it appears to go to sleep after some time of inactivity because there is a slight delay if you tap a key after not using it for a while.I really like that the keyboard mimics an Apple keyboard instead of PC, even though Iâm a PC user I prefer the Apple layout while using Apple products. With the iPad installed and the keyboard closed, this is a bit heavy, but much lighter than some alternatives I have tried, and I transport my iPad in an EVA case anyway, so this isnât an issue.Overall, this is an awesome case and at eighty-five dollars it is an amazing value vs the Apple variant. I highly recommend giving it a try if youâre looking for a keyboard case for your iPro Pro 13!

Almost, butâ¦
I with it had the ability to do a 360 flip around so I wonât have to detach the keyboard when using it to write notes. Splitting the keyboard from the case can be hard to do. Overall good case and better value per dollar than the Magic Keyboard.
