This camera has been a great upgrade for my virtual meetings. I love that it sits at eye level, so I donât look like Iâm staring down or off to the side during calls. This is what my son needed to push his podcast a lot further. The camera quality is so clear and amazing. The installation was super easy and took him no time to put it together. He loves it and talks about it all the time. The zoom capability has to be the best part that I love about it. Especially when heâs talking and has to move around it gives him the option to zoom out further or keep it up close.

Teacher’s new bestie
As a teacher, my life is a chaotic symphony of grading papers, chasing deadlines, and attempting to explain physicsl science concepts without spontaneously combusting. My old laptop camera made me look like I was broadcasting from a haunted swamp, and frankly, my mom’s constant “Are you feeling okay, dear?” questions were starting to sting. My students can see my face crystal-clear, not just a pixelated blob. The flexible gooseneck prevents awkward contortions trying to show off my meticulously crafted diorama. For the price, this webcam does a solid jobâmore than good enough for work calls. While it doesnât have autofocus, the manual focus ring around the lens is easy to use; once youâve twisted it into place, the picture is sharp and stays that way.What really makes this webcam stand out is the flexible arm. Itâs easy to adjust, and once positioned, it holds firm without sagging or slipping. Unlike my old camera, which only clamped to the top or bottom of the screen (often at an awkward angle), this one attaches to my monitor arm and sits just off to the side at eye levelâperfect for a more natural angle.The USB cable is generous in length and conveniently exits from the bottom of the flexible arm, which helps with cable management.All in all, itâs a decent bit of kit. A few more features like autofocus would be nice, but it definitely gets the job done.

I received this for free so I can give an impartial review under the Vine programme.I ordered for my daughter to use with her school work and online chats.It’s an unusual new concept of t he ‘eye contact’ webcam, so instead of being sat on top of the monitor or laptop screen, you can use the flexible goose-neck design to position it in front of the screen when needed. So yes you block your view of the person you’re meeting, but they see you looking straight at them. I can see the value.In that respect I think this is a bit of a fail – it’s so big and chunky! It really does block your view.As a general web cam however I think it’s pretty good.It’s plug and play on Windows – it was immediately available to Teams and the Windows camera app in testing.Image quality is good and the microphone quite acceptable as long as you’re close i.e. at the desk.Presentation in general was good – well packaged with a storage bag, lens cover and USB-A to USB-C adapter to ensure this works with your device.It’s slightly let down by the quality of the camera housing which is sharp and angular. It doesn’t feel nice in the hands and the buttons are hard to read.All in all I think it’s a fine web cam, though the price is high compared to other similar quality cameras on the market. This is probably because of the special mounting mechanism, so if this isn’t a key feature for you then you may find better value elsewhere.

This is a fairly simple plug and play webcam, I was able to get it working on my Linux PC easily enough using the Webcamoid app, it really was just a matter of plugging the camera in and firing up the software.The camera is quite small and compact and is mounted on a flexible shaft connected to a heavy duty clamp, there are 3 buttons on the top of the camera 2 are used for adjusting the brightness and the other one flips the image along the horizontal plane, focusing is done manually which isn’t such a bad thing , sometimes auto focus cameras have a habit of focusing on the wrong thing.Image quality is plenty good enough for this type of camera and the wide field of view is a bonus.Overall I have no complaints about this camera, it’s cheap, versatile and simple to set up and use, recommended.

Brilliant little camera, excellent quality.I was really surprised by how good this is, and although it is designed to bring eye level to a proper place during Zooms, it works well as a general web cam.I run an iMac 27 inch computer and the camera is right at the top, so that really shows up when I do a zoom, due tot he height of the camera above the centre of the screen. The clip is a bit difficult to apply to my iMac, due to the shape of the case, but it clips perfectly to the raiser that the iMac is standing on.It has a wider angle than the iMac’s inbuilt camera and I rather liked that, and the image quality was great.I wont use it all the time, but I am glad to have it to be able to use it when I need to… a very good little product.
