Dual CS43198 plus dual SGM8262 build a professional audio architecture, and the portable CD player also has HiFi-grade sound quality! At the same time, the volume is adjusted by CS43198, with 99 levels of delicate volume control, which not only achieves smooth volume adjustment but also makes the sound at each volume level clearer!
The three-dimensional dimensions are only about 14413727mm! The body is compact, but the performance is amazing, with a balanced output power of up to 660mW. It can not only drive most earbuds but also connect to active speakers or other more advanced headphone amplifiers for further expansion, bringing you an extraordinary listening experience!
The only portable CD player currently in production that supports USB ripping + recording functionality! You can save your favorite CDs in WAV format to a mobile storage device for easy sharing with friends and family. You can also use professional software to easily transfer music to your computer or phone, share across multiple platforms, and play on demand.
The only machine with a 4.4 balanced line output among currently produced portable CD players! 3.5mm and 4.4mm headphone output interfaces to connect headphones; 3.5mm + 4.4mm line output interfaces to connect active speakers and amplifiers! Optical and coaxial digital audio outputs to connect external high-end decoders!
Once the DM13 is connected to a USB adapter, simply switch the D.MODE switch to the “ON” position, and the DM13 will be powered directly by the USB without consuming battery power, which can also better protect the battery life!

Be sure to verify the model if you want Bluetooth output
I chose this model specifically for the Bluetooth output option. I accidentally purchased the standard model thinking that the lower price was due to the color, (which didnât matter to me.) Turns out that the product page offers this in both standard and Bluetooth versions – be sure to read the description carefully before purchasing, so you get your desired model. The vendor (FiiO Store) was awesome about letting me return the standard version without penalty and this Bluetooth model arrived the next day!It is perfect!Iâm not an audiophile but I do have a nice speaker, headset and earbuds – all three are older Bose models and this unit seamlessly paired with all three. (I did have to turn off the Bluetooth on my other devices to establish each pairing, but the unit did the rest automatically and the sound from each of three devices is lovely! (Ear buds & headset are a little more robust than the portable speaker, but Iâm very happy with the ease of use and sound quality from all three devices. The manual offers an overview of the unit, but it does not give walk-through information on just how to pair. However, it does have q-codes that link to more detailed information. I needed this online information to get it working, but once I did it, it was pretty straightforward to repeat with my other listening devices.I canât speak to the longevity or durability of the unit, (because Iâve just received it), but it has a nice weight to it and feels like a quality build – not at all flimsy or cheap feeling. Itâs got an elegant and simple design with a small footprint. If you have difficulty with visual contrast, you might wish to consider the white or black units, as it is easier to see the button labels with the black/white contrast. The red unit does not have much contrast with the black labels so I do find them difficult to read (with my aging eyes.) Not a deal-breaker for me as I know that once I get used to the unit, that Iâll just know which buttons I need for operation. But this could be frustrating for some folks, especially in the set-up.I have not tested any of the unitâs other capabilities but Iâm certain that this will perfectly suit my needs as a portable, Bluetooth cd player. I do feel that, while pricier than other portable models, that the quality of this hardware makes this worth the cost.

Amazing Sound Quality
I didn’t expect too much given the low cost of this unit, but it sounds great and is easy to use. It takes up very little space on my desk top and if you want to take it with you, to a park for example, it holds a charge for a good long time. It features USB C, Coax and optical outputs on the back, as well as 3.5mm and 4.4mm balanced headphone outputs on the front of the unit. It is a surprisingly good player and is a great value for the small amount of money spent. Very highly recommended.

A great portable CD player (with a few minor caveats)
It’s great to have a high-quality, portable CD player again. It’s reliable, the sound is quite good and it seems well-constructed. Two things I don’t like:1. Slow to read discs initially, in my experience. The SMSL CD player is much faster, though not as portable (a trade-off, I guess).2. I’ve had an issue with a few CDs where there’s some high-pitched noise that seems to come from the disc spinning (maybe the CD is very slightly warped? I dunno. It doesn’t happen with my SMSL or Marantz players.)Other than that, this cute little FiiO does the job. If you’re not going to move it around that much, I’d get the SMSL. It’s cheaper and faster, although the faceplate is quite ugly (as many have pointed out). If you want a CD player for on the go, I’d say this is a good bet.

Quit playing after a week
It sounds great until it quits playing. Mine died after about 16 hours. I returned it & will try something else.

FINALLY a great gapless player
Yes this has gapless playback. Yes you can take this on the go. Yes you can hook it up to a stereo. And yes, even if your stereo merely consists of a turntable with powered speakers. While there are minor nitpicks with the buttons/interface (eg: stopping a disc requires hitting two buttons at once) these are very minor. I love this thing. It’s built well, it plays GREAT, and it just sounds really nice.

Brilliant for people who like physical media.Even though I use Spotify I always prefer to have physical copies of albums.I originally bought a Oakcaskle CD player but that wouldnât connect via Bluetooth to my 2 JBL PartyBox 110âs but would to other Bluetooth speakers, it was a bit of a risk purchasing this one with that experience but happy to report it connects and works fine.Unfortunately the video doesnât sound great (filmed on my iPhone) but I can confirm sound quality is crystal clear.A little expensive but at the moment seems worth it.

Excellent product. Decision was hard with so many other options in the market these days, but the ratio of pros and cons moved the scale to the FiiO, and I think it was a good decision. The sound is terrific, especially coming from a late 90s Panasonic portable CD player with all sorts of noises and bloated sound in most cases. The build is solid, delicate and pleasant to look at.I’ve been going through party of my library for a few hours using three different sets of headphones so far (KZ Zenith, Hifiman Edition XS -both through the 4.4 balanced output- and Sennheiser Momentum 4 – 3.5mm output) and many different music genres. The sounds is crisp, dynamic and consistent. Much of my attention have focused on the layering of instruments, which is very detailed and airy. No extra colour is added to the sound, it all sounds as honest and unique as your headphones’ character allow. The space and wideness of instrumentation again depend on you’re headphones. The seller has been very active since day one, contacting me directly to ask for delivery preferences to ensure the item reached my hands without interference or hiccups of any kind. Thanks for that.

Beautifully packaged and a nice design and build. Operation is straightforward but I only had a few minutes playing with it as I discovered that I had bought the version without bluetooth, which was essential. I have returned it but I will be buying the bluettoth vesrion as soon as possible.
