My New Go-To
As of the moment, this is pretty much the best gamepad I’ve ever used.Pros: Super responsive, comfortable, logical ergonomics that I believe have pretty much peaked with this type of controller and Flydigi’s iteration of it with the Apex 4, adjustable tension in the analog sticks, nice aesthetics, sturdy build, exceptionally suitable for most genres of gaming (particularly FPS), easy setup on PC, easy setup on Steam Deck, in-depth customization features on the Flydigi Space Station App, Good battery life (not the best), The rumble is traditionally designed but refined to greatness (hard to tell the difference between this and HD rumble), with super satisfying button clicks that also aren’t too loud or too harsh (feels equivalent to a high-quality mouse).Neutral: The D-pad is good but not ideal for 2D fighting games; it’s slightly heavier compared to a regular Xbox controller.Cons: Removing the high-quality shell is a bit of a pain compared to others like it, as you have to remove the analog sticks and D-pad first.

Awesome, Great Controller.
I own several Flydigi products, my first was Flydigi Apex 2 controller and after a few years I got a second one and now they are discontinued so I got the Flydigi Apex 4, I really liked the feel nice and sturdy, grips well, I really like the remapping of the buttons and different trigger settings that can be changed in the software, the screen is really cool since you can add your own animated gifs and the rbg lights are a nice look, so far this is the first controller I grab when gaming.

Great controller. Poor choice of button size and material.
This is a weighty controller. Cool features and great response. The screen is great and useful. My only concern and the reason for my return is that the buttons (a,b,x,y) are small and hard plastic. When pressing quickly and with force I felt like I was getting jabbed with a blunt object. No give in the buttons and a more quality softer plastic (like the easy smx x10) would have set it over the top.

Extremely high quality controller at a reasonable price point.
I bought this controller specifically for the adjustable joystick tension. I’ve seen a lot of complaints about the adjusting screws being under the face plate but I personally like this. It helps protect the screws from corrosion and prevents accidental adjustments.The controller itself is fantastic. I’ve spent hundreds on many many controllers. Thrustmaster, scuf, Xbox pro elite, etc. Up to this point, my favorite Xbox style controller was the Xbox brand series x controllers.The flydigi apex 4 has RAPIDLY become my favorite controller of all time and it’s not even close. The snappy-ness of the sticks is smooth, yet tight. The tactile feedback of the buttons is very pleasant, the triggers aren’t tactile but they are pressure adjustable and extremely smooth, the lights are customizable, the gif on the face of the controller is customizable, the grip is a little smooth for my liking but it is rubber and it is slightly textured.Overall I have nothing but good things to say about this controller. Would buy again!

The best controller I’ve ever ever owned
This is hands down the best controller I have ever owned! Not only is it easy to use, the ease of use when trying to connect it is simple and straightforward.Not only can you adjust how strong the rumble is, you can adjust the controller sleep settings, the screen brightness, and even adjust the torque settings for the joysticks. The faceplate is also easy to remove for cleaning and any maintenance that needs to be done you can also swap out the joysticks and the d-pad. There are a couple programmable buttons at the bottom and you can even swap button profiles on the controller itself.Whether you game on pc, Xbox, playstation, or even switch this controller definitely is a premium upgrade and well worth it!

Terrible QC
I was able to snag one of these controllers on the prime day sale, excited to try it outâ¦. Well thatâs where my excitement should have ended. This controller was an awkward mess, and to top it off broke on me a week in. Iâm extremely disappointed that a controller that cost this much broke that fast especially considering it was the analog stickâ¦which is suppose to be much better then the standard controllers in terms of reliability. STAY AWAY

Controller feels good. I’ve had the Xbox official pro controller for years and decided to “upgrade” since i was getting double-clicks on the prior controller I had. This feels very much like the Pro controller – hoping that the buttons last longer and no stick drift happens. I think it is overpriced though, i don’t really ‘feel’ its twice as good. but it is quality.
