Gets the Job Done
I purchased this item in October 2024 but waited until July 2025 to write a review. The reason for this wait is that in my experience, some controllers work well for 3-4 months and then crap out. Not the case with this workhorse. Let’s get straight to business: This is a basic, bare-bones Hall Effect controller i.e. no extra buttons or features. Also, to state the obvious, it’s a wired controller with a nine foot (three meter) detachable cable. Additionally, the buttons and d-pad are membrane style, so they lack the “click” factor found in some other controllers. But after 250+ hours of use, the controller continues to do exactly what it was supposed to do, with no stick drift yet.Long story short, if you want additional buttons, wireless connectivity, or buttons that click, this is NOT the controller for you. On the flip side, if you are okay with said limitations and want a controller that works for a very reasonable price and, in my experience, functions properly for quite a while, give this controller a shot.

Initially great. Seriously a good controller. Enough that I bought a second one about 1 week after the first.That one started having issues with a sticky/mushy button about a month or two in.Check out the Amazon reviews. Notice that Amazon Vine customers have unending love for this controller. Those of us who bought it. Not so much. There’s a common trend in fragility of the buttons.Support is essentially support theatre. I submitted a request, provided all the information requested like description of the issue, pictures and video.Ghosted.Not even an acknowledgment that the info that I sent was received and being reviewed.I suppose if you don’t care about actual support, this controller is fine for the price when a coupon is available. But if you are of the mind to use a warranty if issues pop up, good luck.I’m moving on to another vendor’s product. Gamesir isn’t the only game in town for Hall effect controllers. I fell for all the hype surrounding Gamesir products.Amazon went above and beyond to help me get a return/refund despite the return window elapsing.

Reliable Backup Controller
While Iâm not usually a fan of wired controllers, this one has definitely come in handy. The kids are constantly burning through batteries on the wireless ones, so itâs nice to have a solid backup ready to go.It feels good in the hands and responds well during gameplay. No lag, no weird button issuesâjust a dependable controller that does what itâs supposed to. Great to have around when the wireless ones are dead or missing in action.

Stopped recognizing buttons.
This was working great for two months. Loved it. Yesterday, a pop-up saying Xbox controller has lost connection and needs to be plugged back in. It was clearly plugged in as the light was still lit up, but nothing is responsive. No buttons are being recognized. Every USB port does the same thing. Has anyone else encountered this issue?

Pretty good so far.. but low mic volume
I’ve had this controller for about a month now. It’s great so far. I wanted a controller that had the ability to have the quick triggers. I had a PowerA controller before this that I liked but the buttons kept breaking after about 4-6 months. Going to see how long this controller lasts. The buttons do feel to be of better quality than the PowerA’s but time will tell. The responsiveness and ability to customize the buttons through the app is a real plus. The one major downside that I have noticed so far is that when playing with friends.. they say my mic volume is really soft. I’ve tried a whole bunch of things to fix that but no success. If the buttons and controller last longer overall than the PowerA’s then it might be worth the low mic volume.

The price was right, and a decent controller
Controller is light weight with good stick response. I don’t mind it not being wireless. Plug in the supplied cable and all it does it work. I would not hesitate to buy another one.

Tras 6 meses de uso, que espere antes de escribir mi reseña, puedo decir que vale completamente la pena. Lo conseguà con descuento por casi 1000 MX (50 USD).El control no me ha dado ningún fallo en estos 6 meses ya que a esta altura, los 2 controles originales que habÃa comprado ya me habÃan dado un poco de drift pero este su cumple con el no drift (un par de veces parecÃa tener pero era mero polvo que se corrigió solo soplandole con aire).En cuanto al Control en general, es más liviano y con botones y gatillos menos rÃgidos que los originales, sobre todo se nota en los gatillos y los sticks, pero no es como que sea injugable o incómodo, solo es algo que notas pero se puede acostumbrar rápido.El plástico es de buena calidad ya que se me ha caÃdo dos veces en estos 6 meses de 1 metro de altura (aprox) y nada se rompió, estrelló o daño.El cable es bastante largo para jugar sin problema, y es un poco más rÃgido y grueso de lo que pensé, supongo que eso ayudará a que dure más sin que se dañe el interior de cobre.Y también incluye un codigo de 1 mes de Game Pass Ultimate.No lo he probado en PC (se supone que es compatible) ni tampoco he usado la aplicación para establecer perfiles de distinta configuración, asà que no puedo opinar.
