This is the best coffee maker in have ever purchased! All instructions are clear and concise with initial set up. It works as advertised and makes awesome coffee. I love the feature of being able to choose the grind size as well as the coffee strength. The hopper stays dry and moisture DOES NOT seep in during the brew cycle as with other coffee machines. Is worth every penny!!!

Iâve been using the Gevi 10-Cup Drip Coffee Maker with the built-in grinder for a few weeks now, and I absolutely love it. The grinder works great and gives me freshly ground beans every morning, which makes a noticeable difference in taste. Coffee is TOO WEAK brewed at the STRONGEST LEVEL in “GEVI 10 Cup 2-in-1 Drip Coffee Machine”
I just purchased on 5/25/25 the Gevi 10 Cup – 2 in 1 Smart Drip Coffee Machine.I seasoned this machine per the instruction before brewing.I set the current time and noted the clock is a 24-hr. format which cannot be changed.I set the Program function for the brew to start in 3 minutes; the machine came on in 3 minutes.Machine ON/OFF was set to off.The Gevi had the following:1) Brew strength set to Medium. – The 2nd level of 3 strengths of the Gevi’s strength settings.2) Bean hopper filled to top with Verve Buena Vista Dark Roast Blend Beans – Roast Level of 8 out of 10.3) Bloom function set to ON – coffee bean outline without fill.4) Grind Level set to the smallest dot.5) POWDER 2-10 set to 8 cups of coffee.6) Carafe filled to 8 CUPS level and poured it into the rear reservoir.7) Programming turned Gevi on in 3 minutes and ran our 1st brew cycle.RESULT: Both my wife and I said the same thing:The coffee is TOO WEAK and tasted like hot water.I dumped out this 1st brewed coffee batch.8) Brew Strength set to MAX strength level 3 – the image of the largest bean.8.1) Note: The bloom function is not available at the strong level.9) Ran a 2nd brew cycle.RESULTS of 2nd Cycle: Both my wife again said the same thing again we could not taste any difference from the 1st brewed cycled.CONCLUSION: The coffee brewed even at the strongest settings was still TOO WEAK!We really wanted to love the Gevi but just could not drink this weak strength coffee so I am retuning this machine. Sorry Gevi.

Hopper does not feed beans well without this simple modification
Noted in the description is that the hopper will clog-up at the grinder (my words not theirs) if you use the dark roast beans. They claim the oily surface of dark roast beans cause it to not feed. See my screen shot.I was able to fix this by removing the 4 screws on the base of the clear bean hopper. Once removed you can then remove 3 screws from that black cone. Remove the cone… there appears to not be enough room for the beans to pass under the cone and into the grinder. Once the black cone is removed, you can reinstall the clear hopper using the 4 screws you removed earlier. The hopper now feeds the grinder with no issues. So if you find your coffee maker not feeding the beans. This should fix it. Other than this, the coffee maker works great and I recommend it.

Excellent coffee, particularly for the price
Overall this is a five. I am not a coffee connoisseur by any means, but I know a good cup of coffee when I taste it, and this thing produces a really good cup of coffee for a not-crazy amount of money.The burr grinder isn’t loud and it does its thing pretty quickly. Brewing time after that is pretty quick also. The only (really minor) criticism I have is that the opening for the water reservoir is at the rear of the coffeemaker and it’s kinda narrow, maybe 1.5″, so I have to take care not to spill water while filling it, but that’s the most minor of complaints.Beyond that, I can’t imagine how this coffeemaker could possibly be any better for the price. It lets you adjust the fineness of the grind, and in addition to that it has three brew strength settings. Between the two settings you can make your coffee as strong or as mild as you could possibly want, I think.Cleaning it is as simple as your basic $20 Mr. Coffee coffeemaker. It seems to be well constructed and looks like it will last a while. It’s just a well designed coffeemaker all in all.
