Careful Buyer –
Solid performance. At setup, it acts like a Verizon locked phone, but no worries: it’s unlocked.
Just transferred from an older phone. So far, display is crisp, response speed is great and connectivity is good. Everything seems to be working well.It was a bit terrifying at first. When it first booted and realized there was no SIM, it said to call customer support and when I dialed the given number, it was Verizon. This is supposed to be an unlocked phone! But I kept going, not worrying about that until I got far enough in the startup script to have to worry about SIMs, When I got to the sim part, it was a Verizon app insisting it could not be overridden that popped up prompting me to get my Verizon sim. But I inserted my t-mobile sim and verison app gave up. There were a bunch of verizon apps in the bloatware I had to get rid of, but it is working fine with t-mobile. Caveat — when t-mobile took the phone it popped a message that says that ithis phone is missing some bands and that it won’t work across the entire t-mobile network — probably because it’s a couple generations old. I have not had any connectivity problems with it. My other phone is a Pixel 9 which didn’t give me any limited service offerings, but the pixel 7 had latched every 5G tower that my 9 latches, so looks good.Camera takes great pictures. The camera app actually has more features than the camera app on my pixel 9 (huh?) like integrated Google lens.
