She’s the genius hacker known as Hex.

He’s a ghost—the deep-cover spy known only as Shade.

They generate a dangerous level of white-hot sparks, but he needs her help on a deadly mission.

Jet “Hex” Adler loves being a goddess of all thing tech. She provides her team at Sentinel Security with intel and comms, and she’s good at it. No, brilliant. Sure, sometimes it’s hard to be stuck in the office while her guys are in the field, but computers, tech, and drones are her thing. If only she had the same luck with men.

And that does not include a certain hot, cocky, annoying spy.

Cain aka Shade is dedicated to his country. He does the hard, dangerous work so others don’t have to. He came from nothing, he’s alone, unattached. A man like him has nothing to lose. For Cain, life is always about the mission. It can never be about a certain small, smart, feisty hacker.

But now he needs Jet for an important assignment to stop high-tech drone schematics falling into enemy hands.

Of course, Jet will do anything to help save the world…okay, not the entire world, but a lot of innocent lives. Even if it means going undercover with the man who knows how to push every one of her buttons. But as they work together, dodging danger and bad guys, their scorching attraction explodes…and Cain will realize that for the first time in his life, someone is more important to him than his mission.

*** An action-packed standalone romantic suspense.

    Exciting
I loved this book. It was exciting and loaded with banter. The people are so real and relatable. Watching the feelings bloom over from the previous book and I to the awesome bouquet of love really made my day. The action is splendid. All a harmoniously choreographed venture.

James Bond meets the Pixie Tech Goddess
This is my 2nd fave in the series, next to Steel and Hellfire getting together <3The bonus epilogue wrapped up my fave characters from Sentinel and (SF Batman) Norcross lol Sweet! I still think Vander is more lethal than Killian, it's just he prefers to keep to a smaller area than Killian.I read the Fury brothers series before getting to the Sentinel series, and it was nice to see the intro to the Fury brothers. Normal people who overcame life challenges and trying to keep their little part of the state safe. Also, read the 3 Heroes before getting to Book 4-6 of this series so Boone is already a known character from when he worked with Norcross. It was interesting to read these series without everything jumbling into a recycled ex military story template like the video short reels that just recycle stories with different actors.

    Jet and Cain finally!
Since the beginning of this series, I have been wanting to see Hex fall in love, especially since her and Cain’s flirting in the previous books was hot! “Falling in love is a journey. We all have to take the twists and turns to get there, but it’s worth it.”Jet, aka Hex, was a wonderful and fun heroine. I loved how smart and sassy she was. She was confident and while scared at times, still fought back and kicked ass. She was a lot of fun to get to know. Cain, aka Shade, is an undercover CIA agent who is used to being alone but keeps finding his way back to Jet. These two have been flirting with each other for a while now but working together on a mission makes them admit their feelings. I really loved watching these two open up and admit their feelings for each other. “The covert spy Shade only had one master now. One person he answered to—Jet “Hex” Adler.”This book involved Jet going undercover with Cain to stop information from being sold to foreign enemies. It was a dangerous mission but these two worked really well together. I wasn’t expecting their first time together to be so intense and dangerous but it really worked fit the personality of these two. I also really liked that this mission brought the whole Sentinel Security gang together to stop the bad guys. It was nice seeing them all fight together and take care of each other. Overall, this book was everything I was expecting for Hex and Shade’s story and I really loved them. While I am sad that this seems to be the end of the Sentinel Security series, I have really enjoyed it and look forward to revisiting these guys again in the future. Trigger Warnings: kidnapping; brief references of pedophilia; child abuse and neglect referenced; references to parents with drug addiction; nonconsensual drugging of a side character; violence including bombs, fire, gun violence and wounds

    Sentinel security
Great series. I loved reading this series. Each of these dangerous characters find their life love and partner. There’s lots of action that happens when the security goes to save the world from dangerous people. I also like that these people have made Sentinel Security a family, not just a job. I also liked the additional downloads of episodes. I hope more characters join this team.

    A Reading the Paranormal Review
Oh MANNNNNN. Hex and Shade (aka Jet and Cain) are up and I AM SO HERE FOR THIS. THESE TWO ARE SMOKIN’ HOT AND I ADORE THEM SO HARD.Whew! Okay. Now that I have that out of my system (lies, it will likely pop up again at unexpected moments), let’s talk about these two. Hex/Jet is the tech specialist for Sentinel and she’s VERY good at her job. She’s brilliant, sassy, and she’s found her place with the Killian and the Sentinel crew. That said, she might be fun and outgoing with her peeps, but she a little guarded with her heart. She’s been told one too many times that she’s cute (not beautiful) and too smart and too many men are intimated by that in her. So she might want all the lovey-dovey-ness her Sentinel friends have, but she doesn’t think it’s in the cards for her. (Spoiler: She’s wrong! WRONG!)On Cain’s end, he’s a loner who tends toward deep cover (and dangerous) work. Fortunately for him and everyone who isn’t a bad guy, he’s also VERY good at his job. He 100% doesn’t think he’s good enough for Jet. She 100% disagrees with him. As much as he tries to distance himself, our boy has some fierce protective instincts that won’t let him let Jet put herself in danger without him nearby as backup.Dangerous tech that can’t fall into the wrong hands, a little undercover work, some steamy kisses, an unexpected hookup at a party, danger, the Sentinel crew doing their thing, and two people who find each other at the right time. Hex and Shade. OH YEAH.-Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal

Luckily I was stuck at home with the flu the day this exciting book came out and I just couldn’t put it down. Jet didn’t disappoint with her antics and very glad her signature hair came back into play.

A great storyline featuring Jet (Hex) Adler and Cain (Shade) Cavanagh. Jet is a wizard at hacking and works for Sentinel Security. She met Shade, a CIA agent, previously and was attracted to him. A new job had come up regarding a leak of top secret military technology being sold to foreign interests. Its a next gen drone technology. One of the staff of a huge aerospace and defense company that did work for the military was planning to hand over a data chip at a conference in Paris, but was now in custody. Cain wanted to use Jet undercover who was a similar build, height and looks. That was the start of a new mission to recover the data chip and identify and arrest the buyer. Lots of drama, kidnapping and guns involved and a budding romance between Jet and Cain. Well worth the read, loved this series.

I’ve read all six of the Sentinel Security books and loved, loved, loved, each and everyone equally.I loved Hex (Jet) and Shade (Cain) ‘s story, especially as it’s about (I think) the real back bone of this awesome team of gorgeous, passionate, caring and loving guys.Hex is down to earth, loyal, caring and beautiful both on the inside as well as the outside.Anna Hackett has become my new favourite romance author. Her books has everything, good story line, excitement, suspense, romance (not too heavy on the sex scenes).I 100% recommend reading the series in order as you get to find out how the previous characters are getting on.I truly thank you Anna Hackett.
