All the best features for under $300
There appears to only be two helmets in the price range that have all of these features. Fits roomier than my HJC C10 Street helmet of the same size (XL). The US version doesn’t have the 2206 or whatever safety rating stamped on it. Just DOT, but it’s the same helmet. The chin bar activates really good and smooth and stays up positively. I like that the peak is removable. Plan on doing a three day off road trip and then a day of highway back home, so removing the peak is a nice feature. It will be my first trip with a drop-down Sun screen.

Awesome for price
Great helmet for the price. Only issue is the visor constantly coming loose, I ended up put thread lock on the pin lock / visor screws.

very large fit.
Really nice helmet except that it is very, very large sized. usually where an HJC XL but this fits like an XXXL….secondly the chin strap is too far back and chokes your neck. Sad to see HJC changing like this.

Re-loctite the visor screws and it’s an awesome helmet
Have had the helmet for about a thousand miles of riding now and I have to say I really like it. It fits well, it doesn’t feel heavy and I like having the ability to flip the front up when I’m riding in slower terrain or stuck in traffic. One note to keep in mind if you ride any Highway as I would strongly suggest popping off the covers and relock tightening the screws that hold the visor on. While they come with loctite, mine came loose on one side while going down the highway at about 75 and I had to pull over to fix it. Thankfully I could just use my house key to open the cover and retighten the screw so I could continue on my commute. Otherwise, love this helmet.

nice, comfortable but LOUD!
Looks great, pretty comfortable… my big issue is noise. It is VERY noisy at highway speeds. since I’ve worn it while riding and the shop saw me ride off with it…. I cant return or exchange. so I’m stuck with it. I need to get a highway speed quiet helmet as this deadening at higher speeds (over 55).
