I unleashed the Hoover Commercial TaskVac on my carpet and it felt like deploying a vacuum SWAT teamâcrumbs, pet fur tumbleweeds, and last monthâs mystery lint? Vaporized. Being bagless means zero dust-bag wrestling; just a triumphant âclickâ and a transparent canister showing off its gruesome trophy haul. The roar is so mighty my cat now demands earmuffs, and Iâve caught my Roomba sneaking off into hiding. If cleaning floors were an Olympic event, this beast would podium every timeâeven the dust bunnies salute as it passes.

Poor quality
Not good quality. Bagless compartment would not stay in I assumed it was just because of the new plastic pieces fitting together we were able to get it to find me stay in or clip in after several weeks. Since then multiple pieces have either broken off or fall apart the cord attachment wonât stay in the cord sleeve is already off and cannot be reattached. The hook for the cord broke while putting the cord on it, and it does an average job of vacuuming. I shouldâve returned it right away. I missed my window.

Not as tough as I thought it would be
It has decent suction, rolls nicely, and usnt as loud as our old hoover. But I can tell it won’t last as long as we assumed a commercial vacuum should. The plastic seems cheaper. It rolls nice so if you dont gave to lift it you should mind the weight but it’s heavy if you have to lift it. The hose is too short.

Bought in August and it stopped working in December no longer sucks cleaned it all out replaced filters still didnât work. Took to a repair guy and he said it was junk. $200 vacuum lasted 5 months.

Vacuums really well; build is a bit flimsy
The pros: the suction on this machine is great; the onboard tools work well. The vacuum is well balanced so even though it’s a little bit heavy to be called lightweight, it moves nicely on its wheels. The canister is big enough that you don’t have to empty it too often.The cons: the cord could be longer, and the bottom cleat holding the cord broke right away. I’ve Macgyvered it with a miniature bungee, but the result is that I’m the only one with the patience to put the cord away properly. In a small business, it’s a problem if the owner is the only one willing to use the vacuum.I read both the positive and negative reviews before buying, and it seems like they BOTH panned out. The “vacuum” part of the vacuum is great. They cut corners elsewhere, and it shows.

The best vacuum we have ever owned. We bought it in 2014. No frills. Simple. Easy maintenance. Picks up a lot of dirt. It is the only certified bagless vacuum.I think many of the negative reviews are operator error.This vacuum is a bagless vacuum with a washable primary filter AND a disposable HEPA filter, located under the dirt chamber. The HEPA filter must be changed periodically or the vacuum will stop working. The HEPA filter has a hard plastic shell and pulls out like a drawer. It fits tightly and can easily be overlooked. Our HEPA filters last around one year.When we first bought this vacuum, we had to empty it a lot and change the HEPA filter frequently because it was picking up a TON of dirt our old vacuum left behind. I mean, we could only vacuum one room and the dirt chamber was full. This is a sign of a GREAT vacuum. Now we don’t have to empty it as much because it has picked up most of the dirt.If the belt wears out or breaks it can easily be changed without the use of any tools. There is a belt window for easy inspection.It’s a great vacuum.

We use it in our 5000 sq ft gym. Itâs world better than few other popular brands products we used in the past. It can suck way more stuffs with fewer swipes. Very easy to use and doesnât require much maintenance. Noice level is acceptable too, we use it when members are working out without any annoyance.I am usually too lazy to write review but I canât believe this beast of a machine has such a low rating, very misleading!

Used this once a week in a normal sized family home.14 months (oh look, warranty expired..) in and the brush has worn through the plastic bushings in the frame of the vac.it is now unusable and cannot be repaired without replacing the frame of the vac.Nearly $400 should have been much more sturdy than this.
