Ease of setup, excellent value for Windows 11 upgrade
Easy setup, no problems encountered. Good Wifi connectivity. After Windows update download, the computer functions great. The desktop I replaced was not compatible with Windows 11. Great value in my mind.

Computer arrived quickly and was in good shape. Installation was successful in about 2 hours. Specifications were as advertised. The only negative is that the picture on Amazon showed male and female VGA connections for monitors, but the actual computer did not have them. I am pleased with the purchase. Computer is much faster than the old i3 I had.

This desktop computer has exceeded my expections by a large amount. The extra memory, fast cpu and ss drive make it several times faster than my old core 5 HP computer. It is not a gaming machine but will do an excellent job with bookkeeping and internet projects. I would recommend it as a good buy at a very good price..

HP ProDesk 600G4 Desktop Computer – Review
If this PC matches your needs, it is an excellent buy.Comments:It has two expansion slots, one short, one full. Both PCIe. (The current picture shows four expansion slots. This is an error, it has two.)It has room for two SATA SSDs (it comes with one, 1TB SSD.). I read somewhere that the max size is 2 TB, so the max internal storage would be 4 TB. If you add a second drive, you’ll need a SATA data cable and a SATA power splitter (1 to 2) and a mounting bracket (The bay is for a 3.5″ drive, most SATA drives are 2.5″.)The literature says it comes with five USB-3 and four USB-2 ports. All 9 ports are colored black. Normally USB-3 is colored blue. Based on the exposed pins inside of the ports, the four in front are USB-2, and the 5 in back are USB-3.1 (AFAICT.) USB 3.1 gen 1 supports transfer speeds of up to 5 Gbps. USB 3.1 gen 2 supports transfer speeds of up to 10 Gbps. As I read the spec I think it has gen 1 (5 Gbps.)It comes with two display ports. If your monitor only has HDMI inputs, you will need an adapter. It also has VGA output.I got the 32 GB memory version — it is very fast. I would recommend also getting the insurance for any renewed item.If you need more storage, use a USB drive. If you want it fast, use USB 3.2 gen 2×2 (20 Gbps.) You can also get a larger capacity drive (~20TB). For Gen 3.2 2×2 you’ll need to use the short expansion slot for a USB 3.2 gen 2×2 card. Use the Small Form Factor (SFF) size. Usually a SFF USB card supports 2 drives.

Functioned well right out of the box. Was not loaded with any malware that I could detect. I had previously bought a refurbished computer from Amazon whch was loaded with malware which took me weeks to eliminate. I am quite happy with the performance of this system.

Modern computer missing modern technology
I can’t believe a system with a terabyte hard drive and 32 gigs of RAM doesn’t have an HDMI video port. Complete insanity! And of course no monitor nowadays comes with a VGA cord. Could have been a great purchase but very disappointed instead

Worked for about 2 hours. I was loading up programs, transferring files from an external drive, etc. Just regular tasks. It crashed and then gave the BSOD. I rebooted and got the dreaded OS not found error. Reseated hard drive but nope. Now it wonât start up at all. I’m really disappointed.
