Get to work with the versatile, elegant, and space-saving HP USB-C Dock G5. Compatible with HP laptops, MacBook® computers, and other notebooks (2), this USB dock is great for organizing your desk with its small footprint and single-cable set-up. Whether it’s displays or other electronic accessories, your universal dock will assist with charging, data transfers, and networking between devices. (1) For USB-C® functionality, host PCs must support the DisplayPort™ Alt mode protocol through its USB-C® port. Thunderbolt™-enabled notebooks will function at USB-C® speeds. Charging and port replication is supported on notebooks that have implemented USB-C® industry specifications. Power button to turn on or wake the system, Wake-on LAN from warm and cold dock, Wake-on LAN from S4/S5, and MAC Address Pass-Through in S0, S3, S4, S5 warm and cold dock features only function on HP or HP-supported notebooks. HP does not provide Ethernet and audio drivers on Mac PCs. (2) Based on HP internal testing on select non-HP notebook models compatible with USB-C® industry standards. Certain Alt mode features are not supported, such as power button, MAC Address Pass-Through, Wake-on LAN, and OOB Wake on LAN. worth every penny
if you have an hp laptop, give this a try. I thought it was kind of waste and actually a little overpriced. it actually makes using the computer easier and adds to the user experience.to me this is more than a âusb hubâ – it changes the way power is delivered to your computer – it connects solely through the USB-C port. it makes adding two additional monitors a breeze and while I donât know this to be true- I think it helps the computer do the job. as a result a laptop I didnât really like has become a tool I like using.

Affordable and functional accessory
So far, I have had no issues. I primarily use this to charge my HP laptop and connect it to an external hard drive and Philips monitor. So far, I’ve had no issues with it. If you’re looking for a docking station (especially with an HP laptop, I recommend this.

Didn’t work for my laptop, but it’s due to being an older laptop that may have made it work, not the actual device itself.

Junk, just don’t buy it. Get a cheap dongle
Garbage. Display port glitches out on my HP Omen monitor and now HDMI is malfunctioning. I always to to unplug and plug back in the usb-C cable. Ridiculous.Size is clunky, but it fits under my laptop stand. I wouldn’t mind the size, but 0 of the 3 display ports function correction. So definitely a waste of space.Durability is trash. USB-C cord had wrinkles near the connector and has degraded the cable. Avoid.

Bought this to enable connecting dual monitors, printer, webcam, keyboard, mouse, speakers, and Ethernet to my new Lenovo Yoga 9. Works perfectly! I have two 27″ monitors connected via the DisplayPort connections. I’m amazed that all this stuff can be run through one USB-C connection on the laptop, PLUS charge the battery at the same time. I’ve even plugged an external drive into the front USB-C port, and it’s very fast at moving files.Be advised this ships in a plain brown box with not a shred of documentation or instructions. Yeah, it’s pretty much straightforward to make all the connections, super easy. Watch YouTube for reviews if you want to see how it gets hooked up.

This is a great docking station. Easy to set up and has everything I need for my home office. I looked at a number of docking stations and this one had the most options and a comprehensive description. Set up was super easy and my desk looks so much more tidy and organized. Fast delivery too. Versand hat super geklappt. Lweider war die DS nicht kompatibel mit dem gleichzeitig bestellten Notebook. Das passende Notebook hätte mind. 600 Euro mehr gekostet. Habe mir dann ein gebrauchtes NB gekauft; damit funktioniert Alles mit der DS perfekt.
