How I remember my childhood controller being
I recently got an n64 again to game on for the first time since I was a kid and the factory shipped controller just wasn’t doing it for me. I upgraded to this and I am very pleased, this is how I remember the controller in my head to be! The analog stick is awesome and the buttons are tight. I also got the atomic purple and confusingly the buttons are a little loser vs the captain which has perhaps too tight of buttons. So maybe it depends on luck of the draw but imo both the lose and tight buttons are fine!

Not quite as good as an original, but a decent replacement
I definitely was one of those people that couldn’t imagine a third party controller could be as good as an original, but this one is pretty good. I find the stick quite stiff, and it takes some getting used to for sure. But so far, no drift. It’s definitely an option if your original controllers are having issues.

Great replacement
Great quality. Buttons are a little hard, but same happened with my originals many years ago. They got soft with time. Stick is pretty different from the original, but it feels great, even better than the OG. It matches the bitfunx same green N64 shell.

Doesn’t allow transfer packs.
The controller works great, and has a longer cord. The only negative is that the transfer pack does not fit. The port on the back of the controller isn’t angled correctly, so the pins do not make contact. I’m going to try to do some modding with a Dremel and see if I can get the proper angle. Considering this only is a problem for one single game, it’s still worth the purchase.

Bought two to play with my boys and it turned out they weren’t old enough to handle it yet so we stored them until recently. Now one the A button doesnât work and the other is permanently locked in hard right.Quite disappointed considering the positive reviews I read online about durability and longevity.

Arrived really quickly from the USA.As for the item itself, itâs really well made and equally as good as the original Nintendo controller. Iâve used some other third party remakes which have had dead zones and havenât felt very well made, but this has no issues and is very solidly built.
