Good Budget headset
I bought this to replace the wireless razer headset I have been using for years that finally wore out on me.I like this headset. I find it comfortable, not too tight on my head but more importantly not too loose. It stays on and doesn’t shift around.Sound quality is good. A little quiet compaired to my old one but I turned up the volume on the xbox audio settings and it was fine. It might not meet the some peoples extremely high standards but it sounds clear, no crackling or static or anything like that.Mic seems decent too. Asked my friends after I got it set up and they said they couldn’t notice much of a change in voice quality from my old headset which always got praise for not being static/echo prone.All in all, for what I paid I am definitly happy. This is a solid budget headset for general gaming purposes. May not be on par to the top brands on some aspects but I would expect it to be hard to find one better than this at this price.

9mo review.If you are like me and you hate buying a new gamming headset because theres so many options and the specs are confusing, just get these. You WILL BE HAPPY. The sound quialty is on point, they are comfortable for hours of playing, the mic is not too sensitive but sensitive enough that you can talk in a low voice and still be heard clearly. Volume control on the side works easy and is rubberized so it works fine with sweaty/greasy hands. All in all I am beyond pleades.

Good sound quality
I have this product for about a year now. I didn’t use it for some time, but once I got a new PC I used it almost everyday. The noise canceling is great, I usually have to take them off to hear my boyfriend talking to me in the same room. The mic isn’t a boom, but it works for me. I did have to adjust my mic settings on discord so my friend’s could hear me.A flaw I have had happen is the left ear piece stopped producing noise. I was reading the reviews and questions here, and they said you could contact the HyperX customer support about the two year warranty. I spoke to them, and had to send in a video and some pictures, and they shipped me out a new headset the same day and should be here tomorrow.I am giving four stars instead of five, just because I feel the headphones should last me longer than a year. The customer service was great and very quick to come up with a solution.I would recommend buying these. (The warranty is valid if the seller is Amazon or off the HyperX website.)

Alright headset – Really poor mic quality
SALE PRICE ISN’T A SALE:I bought these for $42.99 a few weeks ago. They inflated the price to $49.99 for Prime day, and are saying its on sale for $36.99 for 26% off. Save yourself the money and don’t buy them.I bought these to replace my AMAZING Sades A7 7.1 Surround Sound USB Gaming Headset that lasted me 5+ years and for my Twitch Stream.These are ALRIGHT. The sound quality in the headset is good. The weight is good, and doesn’t give me a headache or ear ache (which I am prone too). Its a BIT annoying how directional the sound becomes in these on FPS games, but good in other regards. The app it comes with isn’t really special either.However the Mic on this is terrible. Its tin sounding, muffled and awful quality, even with adjusting the sound in OBS, playing with EQ and filters. The Mic on my Sades was SO clean, crisp, you couldn’t tell it was a headset mic. This one however, just doesn’t cut it. Plus the flip up to mute only works SOMETIMES and with some games/applications (sometimes on Discord, and doesn’t work on OBS).People can hear and understand me just fine.ALSO this isn’t USB so keep that in mind. Requires both headphone and mic jack.Its a shame because I love HyperX (Love my keyboard and mouse) and I took a chance on this headset for my Twitch, only to be really let down.I may try one of their stand alone mics as I’ve heard good things about those. (Send me one HyperX?)Its not worth returning due to the hassle of that alone probably costing more than they were. The best $50 or less gaming headset
This is the best $50 range gaming header there is, well at least compared to 8 other headsets I tested. The spatial sound accuracy is unmatched at this price range. Unbelievable sound performance. To top it off, the comfort is also unmatched. You can actually forget youâre wearing them. The clamping force is one the lightest Iâve worn and thatâs a huge plus for my big head. The only negative about these is the microphonics. You can hear when you rub the audio cord or if it brushes against your shirt. You canât hear this when playing a game though so I donât consider it a big negative.

Craps out in 32 days
Crap headset. Worked great for exactly 31 days. Sound and mic were clear. On day 32 mic is shot..no sound. Troubleshooted for 80 minutes. Nothing. Put in 8 year old headsets, sound and mic work fine. Cant return because return window is closed. Buyer beware.
