Headgear would not stay in place. Must not have been made right, with everyone else liking Jacksonâs headgear so much. The actual darkening lens is made for commercial use with coated glass, not plastic that will eventually get scuffed from repeated cleanings. The controls are built into it (instead of outside on the shell connected with a fragile ribbon cable).

Have other Jackson products, this is the Best Buy I have found in Auto dark welding.
Received well packed last night too late to try. This morning used with Wire feed to check worked good. Then spent an hour repairing a farm gate in the sun. Really clear and full color on Grind. But on stick welding with the Lincoln Ranger it was the best welding experience, clear view in full color. I did spend 30 minutes adjusting the headgear and trying the Sensitivity and Delay settings before starting.However the installed battery was completely dead upon arrival. I had a new one waiting. The only negative for me is I would like a cheater lens holder built in, with adjustments I can use by bifocals well.Best buy for the money by far, better than the HF and Yes helmets. Timer will tell about longevity with the 2 year warranty.

Comfortable and great head band adjustment carriage. Also light weight. Have not had opportunity to adjust the protection levels much, but the clarity is really nice. The delay after ark works really well.

Absolutely no protection for your eyes
Listen people I am new to welding like some of you that buy this helmet probably are. This helmet comes with a 3/10 shade that is not dark enough for doing any kind of welding whatsoever make tea and stick needs a 9â 13 shade. When you call the company, they say this shade is not replaceable with a higher level shade absolute waste of time and money look elsewhere.

Don’t think you’ll find a better helmet for the price. Haven’t used much so time will tell for the durability side but optics are great! Very fast sensors and bigger viewing area than top of the line lincoln or miller auto lids. Was a good buy ð

Not a bad helmet but cannot get replacement lenses anywhere it seems. Unfortunately this means that after a couple of weeks of use it is now useless.
