[Update] Very satisfied with my first e-bike purchase
At the age of 43 my wife and I purchased 2 bicycles for leisurely use on the weekends. It had been almost 2 decades I had ridden a bike on a regular basis so I could not go very far without wearing myself out. I decided to look into e-bikes and didn’t realize how many options were available so I spent about 5-6 weeks researching the e-bikes on Amazon + more expensive options available in the Bike shops around Austin. It was pretty overwhelming to say the least. I’m 6’4 280 lbs so I need a bike with a large frame and wheel size. I decided to try the Jasion Roamer because it seemed to be the best fit for a low cost e-bike.Shipping and assembly:I just received the bike 2 days ago and I could tell that it was mishandled by FedEx because the box was in rough shape. The head light and tail light were both on when I opened the box and were very hot so I imagine they had been on for a while. Unboxing and assembly were fairly easy after watching a few videos on YouTube. All the parts were in box but the LCD display mount was broken (easy fix) and the left side plastic casing around the horn/light switch was cracked causing the horn button to come loose. Jasion has sent replacement parts so we’ll see how it goes. Not sure about replacing the switch casing but I wrapped some electrical tape around it for now to make it look cleaner. Temporarily using a phone mount for the lcd display.First impressions:While the bike is a little smaller than I had hoped, I am able to ride it comfortably enough with the seat raised as high as it goes. Let the battery charge overnight and first ride was very surprised by how the bike takes off! All of the areas I was struggling with on my bicycle were now easy to conquer. I’ve only put a few miles on the bike so far but am excited to take it out on some trails to explore places to fly my DJI Neo!Aside from the broken parts, so far so good for a beginner. We’ll see how the battery and motor holds up.[Update 12/7] Received the replacement parts and swapped them out easily so now the original problem is fixed now on to the next.When I first assembled the bike, the battery was not seated flush in the battery mount. It wasn’t bad so I decided not to worry about it. A couple days later the battery would not lock into the battery compartment and was loose. Took it out and noticed the lip that makes it clip into place was chipped. Jasion support is sending a new battery cover directly from China so will be a couple weeks at least until it arrives. Hopefully it is not too difficult to replace.For now I’m using 2 heavy duty zip ties to hold the battery in place. Will update once I get the replacement part.Update 12/17: received a new battery from Jasion and now all issues are resolved. It took some time so if you are using an e-bike as your everyday commuter vehicle, the situation would be much more frustrating but since I just ride the bike for fun, it really wasn’t too bad Waiting a couple weeks to get all the issues caused by the shipping resolved.Still love the bike it’s a lot of fun to ride. I find it hilarious as hell with all the bicyclists giving you the stink eye when they see you riding an e bike on the hike and bike trails.Highly recommended.

Nice e-bike
I was a little worried about shipment damage as stated in other reviews, however my order arrived with zero damage & this bike is a cinch to assemble,guided myself by a video, all parts are functioning as expected,have not ridden yet because of stormy weather,will update after use,UPDATE: took the bike out for a short test ride and this baby fly’s, Although I will take to my local bike shop & have them make the necessary braking adjusments so I don’t screw them up (nothing serious) I’m going to experiment with the shifting & PAS controls until I’m comfortable with the bike itself, also I want to learn all the functions of the smart LCD display if I can,not to easy for me by looking thru the manual on some stages,(my bad) I’ve added a new larger seat & some foldable saddle baskets for grocery shopping amongst other cargo I might want to carry,so far very impressed with the Jasion Roamer e-bike & satisfied with purchase !!

We are thoroughly enjoying our Jasion bike. It was easy to assemble and set up. Speeds and distances are as advertised, and it is a real pleasure to ride. Many compliments on it as well when we are out and about – it’s a nice looking bike!

I bought the ebike 3 weeks ago and now there is 300 km on odometer. By each charge I can ride about 100 km in Ottawa which is more and less flat and of course I peddle. the motor is very powerful and keeps the speed even in uphills. The saddle and ride are comfortable and lights and horn work well.The bike is on heavy side so it is not easy to lift it. The pedal assist is different, instead of providing a percentage of your power it works like a cruise control, meaning in 3 levels of assist it keeps the speed at 18, 25, and 33 km/hr. You need to know a bit about the bikes to assemble it. I had to adjust the brakes after assembly.

Wow what a fun ride. I have had the bike for over 2weeks now and am so impressed. The build quality is fantastic, was very easy to assemble, there are many videos available. The packaging was very solid, there was no damage at all. Customer service was fantastic keeping me aware of the delivery process and were very quick to respond to any questions I had. The battery performance has been great, it all depends on how you ride, I have no problem in PAS 1 or 2 getting 60 or 70 Kms. The more you pedal the less the motor has to assist, it’s up to you. The only thing I changed was a suspension seat post for more cushion and a little more height. Overall this has been a great experience both purchasing and riding, I would highly recommend this e-bike to anyone👍👍👍👍👍
