Excellent noise cancelling, great sound quality, fit and lots of customization
Updating my review: I have now used these on an airplane and they were incredible. The noise cancellation was so effective I could keep my volume lower and my ears feel much better. Still love them.Original review: I pre-ordered these to replace my aging JLB earbuds and I have been so pleased with them. The noise cancelling is like nothing I’ve ever experienced. I walk in the gym, it’s loud in there (big chain gym). Once I turn on the noise cancellation (I use the functional training setting) WHOOSH, all of a sudden, all I can hear is my music. It’s incredible. And these things can hold a charge like nothing else. They are very sweat proof. The sound quality is amazing, my music sounds so much better on these than my old earbuds. Getting a fit was easy and they stay in place all workout long, whether I’m lifting, on the elliptical or even doing aerobics. I love the customizable controls for taps. Everything about these is customizable! And they are also ready out of the box. Truly a great investment. With the noise cancelling I can keep the volume lower and it makes my ears feel much better. I do recommend if it’s your first time with active noise cancelling (ANC), read up on what it does first. There’s a good NYT article on it. All I can hear in the gym with ANC on full is clanking from weights, which is high frequency sound. The low frequency roar of treadmills and the vacuum them are always running is gone once I turn ANC on. Highly recommend, absolutely love them and a great value for the money.

My life just got way better
I have had expensive earbuds my whole life. My recent pair was the UE Fits which leads the industry. They are so expensive and stressful to own that i bought this to be my “go to the lake and lose them while rowing” pair.I will never return to the UEs. These fit way better due to that funky but effective twist piece, they just don’t fall out.And the sound is way crisper and the bass is WAY better and the app and custom settings are WAY better.Not to mention they are waterproof which is super key and they come in cool colors that you can actually see when you drop them. These cost $200 less than my previous pair and are now my #1 go to!

Favorite ear pod yet
Love these. I normally have pain with ear pods and these fit perfect with no pain. Iâve only used them while walking so I havenât had any trouble with them staying in. The sound quality is perfect and noise cancellation was on point. They hooked right up to my phone and paired seamlessly and were crystal clear. The battery life has been good so far with 1 charge and using them over multiple days. I would definitely recommend!

Severely disappointed
I unfortunately and surprisingly was not a fan I didn’t last even 2 hours with those in my ears they end up hurting my ears they wouldn’t stay in the sound quality was way below what I expected a JBL product to deliver…. And their size earbuds but I will say at least the battery lasted for 10 hours unfortunately comfortability level is too low to enjoy that.

It’s Fine, Sound Quality could be better
I’ve owned a JBL speaker before, and was impressed by the quality of the sound. I at one point mis-placed my Beats Headphones and decided to not spend a lot, but get something that I thought would be good sound quality.When they arrived, I found it odd the need to download an app to handle dealing with the functionality of noise cancellation, active wave, and other modifications. Noise cancellation could be better. I still hear most things when in use, even when I’m in my own apartment doing house work.The headphones provide different ear buds depending on your ear shape and I found that they have difficulty with staying in my ear even after adjusting the buds. When doing light jogging, they can have a tendency to start falling out resulting in me slowing down to adjust them.Sound, the bass is weak, and even trying to modify the Bass, Mid, Treble, I couldn’t get what I really wanted. I also seemed to notice that the right bud had less fade than the left, even though the app said it was balanced. I had to adjust the fade to make the right ear bud work with better volume.Overall, I think they are okay for the price. Maybe you just need something that’s inexpensive, and gives you sound, but I wouldn’t expect anything “great” or “amazing” out of them. They do the job intended but I probably would aim for spending a bit more to get the headphones you really want.

No volume control on earpiece and is oval not round
While the sound quality is great an important feature is missing…volume control on the earbuds. Another fact they don’t mention is that the ear canal part is oval and not round so it will not seal in my ear and falls out.

Love the color! The blue ones are so nice. And theyâre bright enough to stand out when you drop one of the headphones quality is great. Canât go wrong with JBL headphones. Added them to a gift basket I made for my husband for Fatherâs Day.

Got these for my fiancé since JBL is the only ones heâll use for work and he loves these and in his favorite color blue. He mentioned he loves these ambient feature, they donât fall out when he gets super sweaty & noise cancelling enough to not hear a lawn mower with music playing
