It has a great color, is easy to set up, and makes a great cup of coffee. It is a plus to have the reusable filter.

It brews a hot, delicious first cup of coffee and doesn’t take too long. We love it.
Makes an outstanding cup of coffee in minutes and without any mess or fuss. (Our Cuisinart was just a mess.)This Kenmore is so easy and mess-free, I set it up with coffee and water the day before, push one button to set the programmed time (3 a m in our house). Voila! Hot delicious coffee when we want it. I L O VE THIS MACHINE.Easy enough set up too.Programming the clock and timer are super easy. A tiny light comes on and even shows the programmed time. I like that a lot.We like strong coffee but have found this machine makes fantastic coffee without the need for utilizing the Bold option.(The 1-4 Cup/Bold option can be confusing. They should be separate buttons but they are not. We don’t need or use them anyway.)The coffee does not taste as good using the permanent filter as it does with paper filters. I buy the large Bunn filters on Amazon.The coffee maker works fairly quickly and you can steal a cup during brewing, but make haste.I love this carafe because it doesnt dribble; it has a clean fast pour. But because it is glass, the delicious coffee gets stale fast on the warmer.That first cup is really fantastic. Seattles Best Medium Roast is our choice for this machine, or Starbuck’s Pike’s Place medium roast…We even do half and half.What I like best is that the coffee is hot. What I like least is how fast it gets that burn-smell in the glass carafe, about the time it takes to drink that first delicious cup. I suggest if you drink more than one cup, pour the second right away, into a Yeti cup, or stainless carafe.I do not like how difficult it is to read the buttons. Tiny writing infuriates me. It isn’t even in bold lettering. But we only use the On/Off button now.Bottom line when all is said and done, this Kenmore works, it isn’t messy, and the coffee is so good every time.Update: makes such good coffee, we decided to order a stainless carafe to pour it into once the coffee is brewed. I have come back to give this coffee maker a fifth star.

This is a good coffee maker! It was packaged well, arrived on time, and user friendly. In addition, it is beautiful, with no damage, and I have had no issues with it at all. I have used it several times. I highly recommend this item.

Good coffee maker, with two exceptions
I wasn’t aware that the Kenmore name (formerly owned by Sears) was still “out there” and being applied to new appliances. When Sears owned it they were very good, so I figured I’d try this coffee maker. (I was retiring a Cuisinart whose clean function was not functioning and whose hot plate had peeled and rusted.)This Kenmore does make very good coffee, and that’s the first thing one wants, obviously, in a machine that’s supposed to makes coffee!However, how the thing functions and how easy it is to work with is also very important: those are factors to also consider in a coffee maker that a person uses every single day of the year. And this one has what for me at first seemed to be a deal breaker: the carafe lid is permanently attached to the pot. That makes it awkward to handle, it makes it more difficult to clean, and it makes it more difficult to fill the machine with water using the carafe. (I don’t want to have to get another container to fill the thing.)I was going to return this and go back to a new model Cusinart, but there were issues with that, too. So I relooked at this Kenmore and found that you CAN detach the pot lid and snap it on again (it takes a little effort, initially). Having discovered that, and figuring it would loosen some and get easier to take off and put on over time, I decided to keep this. I not unhappy that I did. The other issue is that loud alarm. I don’t find it as blastingly loud as some people apparently do, but it IS too loud. For me, though, that wasn’t a reason to return this machine.

We had a quite a time looking for a white coffee pot. I know there are a lot of black/red/stainless units out there, probably to avoid any staining. This pot is white and stainless. Our kitchen is all white appliances so anything else looks out of place. We kind of balked at the need to get filters for the machine, but when my husband had his first cup – of the coffee he’s had for years – he said, THIS is the BEST cup of coffee I’ve had in a LONG time. I would attribute that to the filters, and yes, a new pot. It’s programmable which was a must, and has a 1-4 cup feature (haven’t used yet, but ideal option), comes with a gold cone filter (my fussy hubby wanted). We were a little alarmed – well he was – when the machine beeped 5 times indicating coffee ready. However, he gets up earlier than I do, and I simply do not hear it a floor up, and our bedroom is not directly over the kitchen. I’ve heard it once or twice – not bad. Anyhow, I highly recommend this Kenmore coffee pot. It had GREAT reviews and I would say that the price is a lot more reasonable than other more bougie brand names, but has similar if not superior results – a really great cup of coffee. You can get the filters for the water reservoir on amazon too – a dozen for $16. We haven’t had to change it yet. There is a feature on the coffee maker that will alert you to when you have to change the filter – the guide that came with says every 70 brewing cycles, 3 beeps will sound and a CHANGE FILTER message will blink in the control panel. There is a Filter Reset button indicator on the front panel that will also illuminate. So, it’s a no brainer when to change the filter. We’ve had the coffee pot for about 30 days now. Anyhow, yep, we love it – you will too.

It looks very nice, but mostly, I like the coffee it makes. I like the five rings (loud enough to hear from a distance away from the kitchen) and I like the nice hot temperature of the coffee.I highly recommend this coffee maker.
