When installed on metal doors,using the rosette rubber seal will protect your door against from rain and dust.

The master code MUST EXIST and can be modified, but cannot be deleted. Therefore, you must modify the matser code when you start using it.

Solid Budget-Friendly Smart LockâJust Donât Expect Premium Longevity
I recently purchased this smart lock, and so far, itâs been doing exactly what I needed it to do. The installation was straightforward, and the keypad functionality works smoothly, making it a convenient upgrade from a traditional lock. For the price, itâs a solid valueâdefinitely one of those âyou get what you pay forâ situations, but in a good way.That said, the materials donât feel particularly high-end. The lock housing and buttons seem a bit lightweight, and while everything functions fine now, I wouldnât be surprised if it starts to show wear with heavy use over time. Itâs not flimsy, but it doesnât give off that ultra-durable vibe either.If youâre looking for a smart lock thatâs affordable and gets the job done without a lot of bells and whistles, this is a great option. Just keep in mind that it may not be the most long-lasting solution out there. For now, Iâd still give it a 5 out of 5âjust with the understanding that itâs a budget-friendly pick, not a premium one.

Perfect
I was Leary about this product, all the handles with locks Iâd ever used was much more expensive. I got this to put on a garage and all honestly I probably like it better than any of my others. I wouldnât want it for a front door because of the look. But itâs very durable locks as soon as itâs shut and easy to use. You can tell by the functionality of it is great. Weâve had ppl try to break in before and I think the lock looks intimidating.

We have a winner!
This was our second try for a solution for the pass door on our detached garage, the first one we tried was app-based, fingerprint and just too complicated for the whole family to get along with.This unit is simple, seems very well-made and the rubber grippy surface is a welcome touch. The trade-off is a somewhat more “demanding” programming procedure – I put the batteries in it and programmed it before I installed it and it wasn’t that bad. Another killer feature that our first smart-lock lacked is a delayed auto-lock setting, this delays the re-lock after you enter the code for up to 12 hours, this is entered as seconds and we have ours set for 14,400 seconds (4 hours). This means I don’t have to enter the code every time we want to walk into the garage, but if we are leaving it unattended, 4 presses of the ‘checkmark” button locks it. I realize this isn’t for everyone, but in a rural area with security cameras, it’s great to have the option.This is an honest 5 stars, I can’t think of anything I’d change, other than maybe a different color, this is a very modern look, but mine is on a log garage next to a log home and “modern” isn’t what we typically choose. I can’t speak to battery life yet, but other reviews seem to indicate it’s quite good.

Awesome 3-1 Doorknob Lock Easy to Use and Install
I was quite happy with this purchase. The item is exactly what I was looking for. It was sturdy, easy to install, easy to understand directions and easy to program. I like that it has options to use a key or electronic keypad, it also has option as a smart lock but I have not registered for that yet. It does require 4 AAA batteries which is not included.

Great overall – minor curiosities on some features
The overall aesthetics, design, and function of this knob set are all excellent. The bolt, locking, and security attributes all seem both precision and heavy duty.The setup or âprogrammingâ of passcodes is simple – and easily implemented.There were only 2 âcuriositiesâ I personally encountered. Since I was interested only in a fast installation requiring no advanced features, I did not track down the further information to answer my questions.So for what it is worthâ¦I found the two (knob skirt flange to door surface) rubber sealing gaskets (inner and outer) to be a PITA to install, so they lay perfectly âflatâ.On each seal, there is a flat âsmoothâ side – and its other side has a slight groove (or âtrackâ) in them – which I âassumedâ faces the knob, allowing its perimeter edge to âride in itâ – creating a seal between it and the door surface. The assembly drawing provided is not specific enough in detail to confirm or contradict this assertion.However, my best effort to hold the seal in proper positioning – with that track to flange relationship – (to remain perfectly in place around the entire circumference) while tightening the mounting screws – failed.And although there is a continuous seal of the rubber around the knob skirt, it is not uniformly flat and evenly spaced in its width around the flanges, in appearance.This was the case both on the interior and exterior surfaces. Therefore it may be that the seal should be inverted – such that its smooth side faces the knob, while the side with the channel mates to the door surface.My other unsolved mystery was in a failed attempt to successfully program a time period of âdelaying the automatic re-locking after an unlockâ (using my code) – was successfully achieved.I may be misunderstanding the feature description. But In following the sequence written in the instructions, the lock always indicated an error (red) before I even completed the sequence of codes to be inputted.So setting aside at least one of the fancy features (that I never considered anyway until I read the instructions) this is a very nice knob set.Its materials, design, feel, installation, and security all seem to be of very high quality and never hint that the unit (like most all items now in our market) is made in China.I do recommend this model for anyone wanting this feature set in a door knob that adequately secures your home, yet allows simple passcode access to those granted via the correct code.

Wasn’t Great at First but then All was made Right
Purchased two of these locks. Both were non-serviceable. I returned them. They were replaced with new locks. The new locks were easy to install, were easily programmed, and offer a variety of features. For example, you can have a sound when someone tries entering the code. This is beneficial if you are in another room and your kid goes to try and enter your office. Or you have a party and visitors start journeying around through your house. The sound can be turned on or off. You can program different codes for entering. The time when the door locks again can be adjusted. Overall, I’m very surprised how well these work. I might advise you get one for your office, a pantry, or a bedroom.
