Great organizer bag for anyone who carries cables and other items
I’ve been using a bag of similar size for a few years to carry my DJ and audio cables and gear. I used to use a box, and since I got the bag, I was very happy. I recently got this bag and it is much more useful than the one I’ve had for a few years. It has a multitude of pockets for items of different sizes. If you’ve got something to store, this bag will store it.Build quality is very good. It is made out of quality materials and nothing feels cheap. All of the zippers run smoothly and every zippered pocket or pouch has two zippers, one from each side, rather than a single zipper for the entire pouch or pocket. The zipper pulls are easy to grab and pull. The bag comes with a hard bottom insider to give the bottom shape. Unfortunately, the bag itself does not have any kind of feet or grippers on the bottom, so the entire bottom of the bag will sit directly on the ground or wherever you place it. My other bag has plastic gripper feet on each corner.There are a multitude of storage places in this bag. In the middle are pockets to hold rolled up cables. These pockets are closed at the bottom so items will not fall through into the bottom of the bag. Half of the interior is open and included are some dividers that you can use to create your own dividing system for additional cables or other items. Or you can leave them out if you need to store larger items. On the top cover are three pockets with a clear plastic window cover so you can see what’s in them. The top is divided in half vertically, and then the right side is divided again horizontally, giving you 1 larger pocket and 2 smaller pockets. These are great for storing smaller cables, wireless receivers, adapters, etc. Along the front of the bag is a zippered pouch that spans the entire width of the bag but has some internal pockets to separate smaller items. You could fit a full length power strip in here, which is something I was unable to do with my other bag. There are also generous sized pockets on each end to store other items such as charger bricks, flashlights, test meters, or other bulkier items. These end pockets have an internal divider that can help you to keep items from hitting each other. One thing I liked about my other bag was the similar end pockets had a velcro flap cover so you could quickly open and access them — on this bag, they are zippered, so it can take just a bit more effort to get into them.The light colored interior lining makes it easy to see your items against the background., This is much better than an all black interior bag would be.There is a simple carry handle strap that comes up from each side to meet in the middle to allow you to pick up the bag with your hand and carry it. Two straps come from each side and mate into a strap from the opposite side, allowing you to use them as a pass-through to attach this bag onto another item. Organized efficient way to bring cables and more to gig
What I like about this bag is that it allows you to organize your cables, gadgets and peripherals into logical arrangement. I was able to combine what normally took two slightly smaller bags, into one.When opened, one side of the bag has several fixed size slots and the other a larger compartment that’s good for putting rolled cords and cables. There’s pockets everywhere on this bag. It comes with removable panels that either attach with hook & loop or can be placed where you need them. A full length slimmer zippered compartment on the outer side of the bag is good for placing a tablet or computer because these’s a hardened, covered and foldable panel that you can place there for added protection of that.Into the fixed slots on one side of the bag, I placed only power cables and connectors, for powered speakers, lights, extensions, amps, mixers, whatever. I placed rolled up signal cables into the larger compartment on the other side of the bag. There was still room there to place brackets, clamps and headphones and a few other peripherals.Inside the larger compartment there’s another side pocket that can be hook and loop closed so things stay put in there. There I placed my gadgets that are smaller, like USB hubs, smaller audio cables (RCA, 3.5mm, etc.) and audio adapters. The underside of the top zippered cover of the bag also has clear plastic pockets for things you’d like to keep separate, like wireless microphone transmitters/receivers, clip-on music stand light, guitar strings, etcetera.The very outside of the bag on either end has another zip pocket each. There’s just so many pockets, all use zippers or velcro for closure.About the zippers, they seem pretty sturdy and I like that the zipper handles have nice larger colored finger handles so you know where that zipper is at a glance.I include several photos so you can know how it looks as I’m describing it. After the bag was fulled to my needs, there’s good adjustable belts to snug the bag up after you’ve filled it.I only have one complaint and it’s sort of minor (or not), and that is the bottom of the bag needs a lot more padding too. If you place a computer or tablet, phone whatever in that longer zipper side pocket and place that hard panel in there, you are protected from a a side impact pretty well, but on the bottom of the bag there’s a vulnerability.Make a padded bottom and you have a 5 star bag here. As it is it’s still a 4 1/2 star bag. I like it. It’s not too expensive either in fact it’s priced affordably in my opinion.

Great storage solution for wiring and cables – clear and mesh pockets help
Finally! A bag specifically made for all my wires, cables and connection stuff. Iâve been repurposing backpacks and other bags and now I have one made exactly for what I need. Since Iâve been involved with a local community theatre production as their tech guy, I need a way to keep track of MIDI and DMX cables, 3.5mm, Ethernet, HDMI, mic accessories, chargers, adapters, terminators, etc. This bag allowed me to transfer everything I had into it with room to spare. I really like the mesh and clear pockets as well as storage compartments that allow me to see what is where as itâs hard to remember after a few weeks or months between shows which cord was stored where.Great quality material and use of pockets and zippers. Iâm so glad to have one place to store all my wiring and cables!
