Easy installation, bright, worth it!
For the price and considering the difference these make, it’s a no brainer!Installed on my 2018 4Runner. These took about 5-10 minutes per side to do. The second was quicker as I knew what to expect.Notes on installation:1. There is a gasket around the housing that is loose. Be sure to have it on the same way it was originally. I took a picture when taking it off so I would remember definitively.2. I didn’t have much lead wire, so you have to do most of this right in the opening.3. I had to use a small flathead to pop the unit out (a tiny bit out) and then again to pry off the old cover. It wasn’t difficult, but I wasn’t able to do it manually.4. The old bulbs didn’t come out by hand. I didn’t want to try too hard as I didn’t want the bulb breaking in my hand. I ended up getting some plyers to get it moving. Just have to do this carefully as you don’t want to crush the bulb.5. When screwing back in, getting it started with the gasket in place is a little fidgety as you have to line up the housing, the gasket and the new bulb/lens with the holes in the car. It’s important to get them lined up right as the gasket will keep water from getting in.Images show the difference with just one replaced. Also included an image with the gasket in place before screwing it all back in.

Easy plug and play install. The most difficult part was unscrewing the rusted screws in my OEM light covers.These are very bright, so don’t expect to use them on your getaway car and think you’ll escape. Your tag is visible from a mile away. The brightness also helps with reversing.

Bright replacement lights
Purchased to replace one dim and one burnt out bulb over the license plate. Theyâre much brighter and look nice. Havenât had them long so not sure about how long they last. So far so good
