Omg! the best, couldn’t get a better laptop
I purchased this laptop because my desktop is old and fan runs all the time, plus it’s 16 years old. I have to tell you I just love this laptop. A friend of my son recommended this laptop. The 1T, was one of the reasons. Plus, it was a great price! I added accessories. I got a wireless mouse, on Amazon. Plus, I got a carrying bag for the laptop, on Amazon. I got a second screen on Amazon. I got extended warranties on Amazon.When I want to use my printer, I unplug my mouse, plug in the printer and when I am done with the printer, I unplug printer cord and plug in the mouse. I would suggest more usb ports, but I am happy with what I got.

Don’t Buy This Computer!
This is an old computer that was re-equipped to make it (only barely) suitable for Windows 11. It originally had a 128 GB C: drive and 4 GB of RAM; the company selling it installed an additional 1 TB SSD and 16 GB more memory. However, it is marginal at best. The main reason is that Windows 11 takes up about 85 GB of the C: drive and, since additional apps are preferentially loaded onto C:, that leaves on about 40 GB for apps. While there may be a way to move some apps to the new 1 TB D: drive, it would be cumbersome at best. The D: is really only good for documents.I bought two of these computers (cheap price) and was successful in setting one up for my wife to use because she only uses one or two applications. However, I returned the other one and bought a more capable computer for myself.

Incredible value for the money
Not necessarily the highest end laptop you can get for gaming, but it’s definitely the highest end you can get for the money. Great processor speed along with decent mid-range graphics processing and an SSD hard drive and you’ve got a really decent rig for gaming for the money.It only has 8GB memory, and I haven’t looked into how easy or difficult it would be to upgrade but that would be a very nice upgrade and even with the additional money this would still be a great value.I’ve been playing Star Wars the Old Republic and I’ve been getting really good frames at mid to high level graphics settings (I let the game choose the settings for me). I really like the keyboard and the feel of the keys. I did read some reviews that did not like having the power key as just another key on the keyboard but that hasn’t been an issue for me. I also like the option to have two levels of backlighting on the keyboard or the ability to turn it off completely.I’ve had and been using this laptop extensively for a month now and I’m very happy with my purchase.I initially saw this laptop for $779, but I’ve seen that the price has continually increased since I purchased. I guess a lot of other folks thought it was a great deal too.The battery life is not so great, but I honestly wouldn’t have expected it to be and don’t really expect to use it much unplugged.

Habe das X220 jetzt seit April 2018 und bin sehr zufrieden damit. Die Lieferung und der Service waren tadellos. Das Gerät kam mit Win7Pro lizensiert. Ich habe erst mal die Linux-Distribution nach der ich mich gerade gefühlt habe darauf installiert und mit der 120GB SSD und 8GB RAM eine Windows 10 VM darin aufgesetzt. Konnte mit der Win 7 Pro Lizenz ohne Probleme die Win 10 VM aktivieren. Das X220 läuft wirklich extrem schnell und ich war durchaus überrascht, dass die interne Netzwerkkarte auch 5GHz kann. Das macht es zu dem standardmäÃig schnellsten Gerät in meinem WLAN-Netzwerk. Mein X220 wurde bei der Generalüberholung mit Carbon Folie/Wrapping an der Oberseite überzogen. Das sieht echt gut aus und wurde auch fachmännisch gemacht, da die einzelnen Elemente (Thinkpad Schriftzug) genau in der Folie ausgeschnitten wurden. Mittlerweile kann ich auch sagen, dass ich es über längere Zeit getestet habe und finde, dass alles super funktioniert. Die Akkulaufzeit kommt mir teilweise etwas kurz vor, aber ich habe keine genauen Tests durchgeführt und auch keine Referenzwerte für eine normale Laufzeit. Von daher bin ich sehr begeistert und zufrieden!

Ich habe mir das Thinkpad als mobiles Zweitgerät gekauft.Das Gerät wurde sauber verpackt und mit vorinstallierter Win 7 Lizenz geliefert.Trotz der Thinkpad-typischen, matten Oberfläche sind wenig bis gar keine Gebrauchsspuren zu erkennen.Auch sonst ist das Gerät funktional sowie optisch in einem einwandfreien Zustand.Das es sich um ein gebrauchtes Gerät handelt, ist fast ausschlieÃlich am Trackpoint zu erkennen, der etwas abgenutzt ist.Meine Erwartungen an ein Gebrauchtgerät wurden deutlich übertroffen.
