Beast
I brought this laptop while on a 7 month work trip and I’ve been able to play absolutely everything on ultra. I ran a benchmark for the new dune awakening on ultra and was getting 175 fps at 1440.

Portage Shortage
This has only two USB ports. The manufacturer blithely assumes that peripherals can be attached via a hub, but many of mine will not function unless connected directly to the computer itself. I should point out, too, that it is not as fast as my rather long-in-the-tooth Alienware R15r4.

Blazing, in more ways than one.
After weeks of research and prior experience with desktops and laptops from other manufacturers – both big box and custom built rigs – Iâm really glad I went with this Lenovo. Superior build quality. Helpful Lenovo background app which provides an easy to use system diagnostics interface. Blazing fast graphics. Using this mainly for games. Blazing hot temperature as well, both the underside of the computer and the charger transformer. Like super hot. Wouldnât hurt to use a laptop chiller under this beast. Fan noise is minimal and if youâre using headphones or ear buds you wonât notice it anyway. Biggest disadvantage is battery life when gaming, maybe 45 minutes. Probably a lot longer if youâre just doing emails or word processing but thatâs not why you buy an i9 with 64GB and an RTX 4070 is it? No regrets!

awesome machine
Lightning fast, handles 40 tabs open at once, LAN hitting over 1K speed WOW what a machine! Gamers? Sure. I teach online model simulation and apps like Unity and Maya put Steam to shame yet it eats them as just a small snack let alone for lunch. For the price, competes with a NVIDIA machine learning rig, it is that good.

Could be great…
Screen quality is decent, power when plugged in is good, battery life is about 1 hour when on the lowest power mode and not using it, downloaded the lenovo app, not great and it bricked my wifi card in which it will not have any connection or only run at 100kb a second, have to keep uninstalling wifi card and it will revert back after about a day. Will not be buying lenovo products ever again.

No way to dim bright power light
The laptop feels solid and is it good all-around value but the power button in performance mode turns red and is very bright. It is totally distracting, especially in dim light. This is one of the dumbest laptop design I’ve ever seen. Apparently there’s no way to turn off or dim the power button light, so I will either tape over it or return this laptop.

It does great except the speakers…
It handles game development and playing games like a champ, but sadly the sound is garbage… I have a headset which makes it bearable but kind of sad about the sound quality

I would highly recommend NOT to buy from this seller. Item was faulty, which they denied, they sold me a very high end laptop (i9, 7,5kdhs) as new, but it clearly wasnât.Gave me problems since day one, and once informed, they were not responsive nor tried to resolve the problem. After all this, Amazon approved my refund, and they tried to refund just partially, luckily Amazon covered me.
