That’s it for the hardware! The software setup was equally easy. After downloading the Lepro app, adding the device was quick and intuitive. I had it connected to my home Wi-Fi in a matter of minutes.Flawless Alexa Integration: What truly sets these smart plugs apart is their seamless integration with smart home assistants. Once the device was successfully added to the Lepro app, my Alexa app automatically detected and added the smart plug without any additional steps required from my side. Limited Compatibility, Decent Hardware
I could only get this Wi-Fi switch to work with the compatible app. It doesnât work with Home Assistant natively, which is what I was hoping for. It also doesnât work with SmartThings or SmartLife (Tuya), which makes it very limited.Going forward, I need to make sure any Wi-Fi switch I buy supports at least the Matter protocol. Being limited only to my phone, or Google or Alexa voice control, feels restrictive. The phone app is the only option that works offline, while the other options depend on the internet and third-party services, which can sometimes go down.If it worked with SmartLife (Tuya), there would at least be the possibility of using the Local Tuya HACS Home Assistant integration. I also found that you can use an Alexa HACS integration with Home Assistant, but again, that relies on a third-party cloud service.Otherwise, the switches are compact and operate silently, which would have been great with broader compatibility.
Critical Insights –
Simple to pair and easy to use, does not require hub!
I primarily use smart outlets to control string lights which light pathways from parking areas, and, in the past, I have run into hassles with outlets only working if they can talk to a nearby hub (meaning both outlets must be installed in the same area if you only have 1 hub), outlets which refuse to allow you to schedule functionality, or outlets which are simply impossible to pair. These outlets suffer from none of those draw backs, and paired instantly using the existing WiFi network, and allow you to set a timer for your outlet, or to set it on a schedule. Exactly what I needed!Installation of the outlet was incredibly simple; with Bluetooth enabled on my phone, after following the QR code link to download the app, the app auto-located the outlet the moment the outlet was plugged in and I loaded up the app. Installation after that involved following a few simple prompts, putting in my WiFi information, and then waiting for the outlet’s firmware to update. Went off without a hitch with both outlets.This outlet features a blue LED light which indicates if the outlet is “On” or “Off”, and this indicator, while not terribly bright, is more than bright enough to easily identify if it is on at a glance, or produce some tell-tale glare if the outlet is tucked away behind furniture. As outlet’s are fairly simple, and this app supports scheduling the outlet, I’d say this is a fully featured and functional outlet, certainly outshining other name brand outlets I’ve tried in the past.The outlet did require I give it certain permissions which seem just a tad excessive to me, however, this seems to be an android permissions issue more than the specific app, as I have noticed these permissions to be the minimal needed to install any smart app lately. I attempted to set it up to work with my Home Assistant Green, however, I was unable to get it to pair with the integrations which I read it could be compatible with; Tuya, so that it the one disappointment at this time, though I will try more later, and update this review if I manage to succeed.All in all, this outlet does exactly what I need at a very competitive price, so I will definitely consider buying more when I see the need in the future.

Easy to use
I ordered this Lepro P1 Smart Plug Mini 15A, WiFi Outlet Plugs Compatible with Alexa & Google Assistant, Voice/APP Control, Timer & Group Controller, 2.4Ghz Only, ETL & FCC Certified, 2-Pack. Super easy to use. Easy to connect to my Alexa and worked on first try. Currently using for a lamp but trying to think of better options for ease of use. The outlets have a strong connection to the wall and donât stick very far out from the wall still allowing furniture to be pushed back up to wall.
