Honestly the best monitor i’ve ever owned
Either I won the panel lottery or this is just a great monitor. I’ve bought many cheap and expensive monitors and never had one so perfect out the box. Time will tell though. Went from a 34″ 3440×1440 to this 45″ 3440×1440 very worried about bigger pixels, massive curve and the text on desktop being blurry but had nothing to worry about. You don’t even notice the curve when your using it (look at your flat tv up close after using your monitor and you will think your tv is bulging outward, it’s wild). Desktop text is obviously off but not as terrible as people made it seem. You can use this as a home office work computer and be fine with few adjustments maybe sharpness increase and clear type. Plenty of settings on this thing. MAKE SURE you use PIXEL CLEAN setting on monitor before you use it as it is recommended. Also take precautions about screen burn in. Gaming obviously is amazing on this thing. Ran a bunch of tests and it was all good. Solid design nothing over the top. Thinner than expected. Lights are cool. Speakers on this are in fact speakers (Didn’t test speakers too much). Response time is insane but im not hardcore like that. My computer is mid to todays standards which is why I stuck with this resolution. I still like to run games on max settings, high fps and don’t mind the resolution. Not blurry at all in game or desktop (except maybe the text being ever so slightly off). Maybe if you went from a higher resolution to this then maybe I can understand being a little put off. Plenty of other stuff I didn’t mention.

This panel beats QD OLED easily.
LG 27GS93QEThis monitor is absolutely amazing. I went from a QD-OLED gaming monitor to WOLED with hesitation but wow, LG is so much better than Samsungs panels! People all over the internet will scream how QD-OLED is better or that the Matte finish takes away from the image. This is a major lie, as I have owned both, I can tell you the WOLED panel crushed QD OLED.Blacks are actually black not purple, and having light in your room never takes away the beauty of the contrast on this panel! You might as well play in the sun here, the blacks stay that inky black! While QD OLED is embarrassing in comparison. The screen is actually cleanable!!!!!! QD OLEDs screens are just awful with cleaning. Glossy coats on monitors are just terrible. Following the manufacturers guidelines in cleaning won’t prevent scratches. But here, with LG, yea you won’t even see a scratch!!!Matte finish… where do I start. First you can’t even see the matte finish, it’s not the same matte finish you see on other gaming monitors. It’s borderline glossy, but much better than glossy. It won’t take away from the game, it doesn’t make the image look fuzzy what so ever. And again note here that I have BOTH panels!! This one embarrasses QD OLED and it was cheaper?!!!Brightness, and color. This monitor will excuses of those true blacks will blow you away in contrast. On QD OLED, colors are far to vivid making it look everything is over saturated even with calibration!!! WOLED, never had this issue always the correct and accurate colors even out of the box which is insane! The brightness is good here, it’s Oled so your not going to get insane 2000 nits but your definitely getting an upgrade from QD OLED, VA, IPS, or TN.All in all amazing monitor, don’t listen to Reddit, get one your self and see! A great idea is to go to Best Buy and see them side by side and you’ll realize how much better WOLED is.5 amazing stars wish I could give it more.

    Beautiful for gaming
I bought this monitor to replace an old LG Ultragear 34″ ultrawide IPS that my movers lost.I took a chance with this OLED, but it’s really only good for gaming and not work. The text fringe is horrible. I wish I had gotten the super ultrawide IPS monitor instead, but the DCI-P3 color gamut was not as good as this one. However, this monitor arrived with no dead pixels. Works beautifully out of the box. It has better height adjustment than my old monitor, as well as swivel, so it gives me more desktop space. The curve is stronger than my old monitor, but I’m growing to like it.I’m giving this five stars because it’s my fault for not buying an IPS panel for my motion graphics/vfx work. Text fringe is a huge no-no for my career. Luckily I have spare monitors I can use for work (albeit not as good as my old monitor) and can dedicate this one for gaming when I want to use mouse/keyboard at a desk instead of my LG C2 with a controller.Windows shows the refresh rate at 144 hz, but the monitor settings and game settings show it at 240 hz. A little odd, but seems to be working despite what Windows says. This was a steal at $730, so I really can’t complain.

Purchased this monitor on sale at about $1600. It’s size is impressive to say the least. Even in comparison to my neo G9, this is easily the most beautiful monitor I’ve ever owned. If you can find this unit as an open box or on sale, it is a must have if you’re shopping in this price range.Pros:-Massive size. This monitor is crazy immersive. To say that it pulls you into whatever game you’re playing, or movie you’re watching is an understatement. At recommended viewing distance, it fills most of your vision and along with the lifelike color accuracy in HDR, it can make you forget that you’re looking at monitor.-HDR. While the monitor is certified for “VESA DisplayHDR 400” It can punch much higher. Small on screen highlights can reach in and around 1000 nits peak brightness and you can most certainly feel it. Even playing a game as simple as stock Minecraft can leverage these insane contrast ratios, like outside light peaking into a cave. When paired with games that are well mastered in HDR, like cyberpunk. It provides an experience nothing short of cinematic and makes every scene a joy.-Response times. Expect a buttery smooth experience especially on higher end computers. The “Grey to Grey” response times make for a monitor that becomes nearly imperceptible. I had a moment when playing “Warhammer 40K: Space Marines 2” where I was tracking enemies through the sky with my camera completely stationary. Each enemy was completely crystal clear as they flew by me. No ghosting or overshoot. Even amongst other OLEDs, LGs modern panel still measure near the top of the stack in terms of response time accuracy and this monitor flexes that point every moment it gets.Cons:-Most of the pros are still applicable to a lot of LGs product stack as well as others. What this monitor offers is exactly what other premier OLED gaming monitors offer, just bigger. Bigger price, bigger screen. That being said, if image quality is all you care about, then this screen offers essentially nothing over its smaller screen brothers.-Pixel density. At this gigantic size while still clocking in at a 1440p resolution, the “pixels per inch” is relatively low sitting at 82ppi. This would make it relative to a 27″ 1080p monitor. While I personally have no grievance with this, you may actually want the smaller version of this monitor to compensate for the lower pixel density. That being said, this monitor feels deceptively sharp. Not to parrot what other reviewers have said about this monitor, but it certainly does not feel like a 1440p panel. Once in game, everything looks sharp and wears that low ppi much better than I thought it would. I cannot speak to everyone’s experience however and this should be noted for a panel this expensive. All in all, this is one of those monitors that I would urge you to see in person if you’re shopping in this price bracket. Taken everything into account, this monitor is gonna be my endgame until it dies, then I will hopefully replace it with another iteration of LGs 45″ monitor. I love this form factor, I love the image quality, I love this monitor. For me, it is practically everything I could ask at the price I paid.

The LG UltraGear 34″ Curved OLED Gaming Monitor is an absolute beast — a true game-changer for any serious gamer or content creator. First off, the OLED panel delivers stunning visuals. The colors are incredibly vibrant, blacks are deep and rich, and the contrast is simply unbeatable. Combined with the curved 34-inch ultra-wide screen, the immersion is next-level — whether you’re playing fast-paced shooters or diving into cinematic RPGs. I recommend it! The best for gaming.
