Phenomenal Mouse; All the Must-Have Features; Big Hand-Friendly
Love love love this mouse. I got it because it looked like it had pretty intuitive buttons that were programmable and it looked like the ergonomic shape would make it easy for me to use with my relatively large hands. Size is great. Reading some other reviews seems to indicate that people with smaller or average hands also like it so I guess its good all around there. I switched to this from a razer naga when the left click plastic literally broke from gaming use (some “gaming brand” Razer is..). I bought one of these in 2022 and used it for countless hours of gaming and browsing since then. I just bought a new one because my dog chewed the left click plastic piece off of it (I can’t even be that mad, he chewed off the part that smelled the most like me because he missed me lol) and I went right back and bought it again. I look forward to getting another 3 years of use out of this bad boy

    Great mouse, but one problem.
Great to be able to change the scroll wheel from infinite scroll to notched scrolling with a button push. You can be rough with the mouse in notched scroll mode and the wheel won’t move on its own. Being able to shift the dpi by holding a thumb button and then shift back upon release is really cool. Helps so much when you want to slow down scope aim for a precision shot but then quickly get back to close quarters hip shooting. You stop thinking about it and just do it automatically after awhile. G-Hub software allowed me to program the mouse to each game independently of the game settings. So when you launch the game, the mouse switches from desktop mode to the mode and programming you have for that game. The 11 programmable keys make it so I can program many game modes to not have to sacrifice one button to quickly hit another. If you game competitively you know the advantage of being able to input commands faster than a traditional controller. I loaded up the back end with the weights to make a solid pivot point for pickup setdown movements. Really like that, too. The cord is no issue and it’s definitely worth not having to mess with charging or batteries.

Perfect upgrade from the G502 Proteus!
I love it! I had been using the G502 Proteus since it came out and never “upgraded” because i just do not like the way any other mouse feels in my hand. It is ergonomically perfect for me. Also the weight I love the weight. I used all of the additional weights both in my Proteus and this one as well. Feels exactly the same when moving it around. I know most people like a very light mouse but not me oh no I prefer when it feels like I could potentially use my mouse as a weapon if need be. Gives me much better control especially since I play on high sense. It is basically the same thing just with better internals which give better tracking and click response time. Been doing better in game since upgrading to this mouse 😀

    Longtime G502 user
I’ve used a G502 for many years and always liked the feel, extra buttons, and variable weight option (I personally like having all the weights in). I recently had issues where it seemed like left click wasn’t firing sometimes. I’m not sure if it was a game issue or the mouse but I decided to just buy another one since I had the current one so long. They no longer have the ‘braided’ cable, it’s just typical thin rubber coated wire or whatever. Regardless of that, this is still the best mouse I have had over the last 15 years and don’t regret buying another. I’ve seen some people complain the scroll wheel just spins and spins endlessly… I think they just don’t realize there is a button that changes how the wheel feels/works.

    Solid mouse for gaming
So far so good. I’ve used a bunch of Logitech mice and they’ve all been generally good. Feels comfortable and ergonomic and this one has weights to adjust to your preference. Easy customizable buttons which there are a bunch of. Scrolling wheel can be switched to free spinning or detents with a push of a button.Only issue I’ve had with some Logitech mice are getting double clicks after some use. It was a bit of a cheaper model so hopefully this one holds up. I’m mainly using it as a secondary mouse for my console for some games so time will tell if this ever happens to this model. The few times I’ve used it on my PC, it’s been working great so far. Like with all my reviews, I’ll update if anything changes. .

Best in class but with a drawback
~1 year review of this particular model. I use the computer daily for long periods of time performing various tasks ranging from playing video games to 3D design and programming. I use a claw grip. This is the second version of the mouse I’ve used.Great mouse except for a change in the new version. The previous model had a plastic surface on the left side where the thumb sits. The current model is rubber (only in that area). Shortly after purchasing the rubber began to crumble away and I’ve had to cover it with duct tape periodically ever since. Very frustrating and seemingly malevolent change. The previous model held up well for multiple years and only failed because I was too rough on it. I’d love to have it over this one but will still choose this current model over anything else.Benefits:- Unlockable scroll wheel is extremely helpful when scrolling through large files and navigating endless websites. I can flick the wheel and pause it when I feel like it which reduces finger strain over long periods of time. Its also fun.Everything else is pretty standard. That one benefit sets it apart from other mice by miles and is enough for me. A button that temporarily reduces sensitivity helps quite a bit when aiming at distant enemies or trying to select a tiny vertex and customizable weights are nice but not as world-changing as the unlockable scroll wheel.

Using it for work.Multi-functional buttons, smooth scrolling, able to make the pointer speed faster or slower with a click of button, never needing battery.Totally worth the price of about $54 that I paid.

Great mouse! Smooth, comfortable, adjustable weight, and tons of functionality. Battery lasts about a week for me before needing to be recharged, which is more than enough. Even then, it charges pretty fast. Previously used a mouse that had 2 side buttons and some DPI buttons in the middle aside from the normal features, but this one has those oriented in a different more ergonomic position along with an additional thumb button that can be held to temporarily adjust your DPI which is great for FPS games. It also has a toggle switch for infinite scroll, which while I haven’t found much use for, works as intended and pretty fun to do. Never going back to a corded mouse. Can highly recommend!
