Beginner/Intermediate Console
This is a very cool audio console for the beginner or intermediate level podcaster OR someone who wants to do some basic voice over work. The “Pro” sound effect with everything adjusted to personal preferences using the included XLR mic sounds EXACTLY like making a recording from a sound booth. This would be an ideal setup for someone recording their voice while reading a script.CONSOLE FEATURES:For the price, it is definitely the most capable console I have used. There are a lot of options here that are not found on others in this price range, and a few that work substantially better. The ability to adjust LO, MID, and HI as well as the recording volume and microphone volume all at the same time is the main selling point for the console. You can’t get anything else at this price that does ALL of that and has the extra features. This brings the CONSOLE up to intermediate level, for sure.I had a lot of fun with the different voice pitches, too. The female voice can get glitchy, but if you adjust how you talk you can get a nice effect. If you speak too softly, the audio does sort of vanish, though. The other voice effects sounded fine, though. Robot voice….eh….more like B-Movie Monster. It’s not bad, really, but should probably be labeled differently. Some of the built in sound effects are great. Kids cheering, applause, booing, and the crow sounds are pretty useful. Would like to see a firmware update allow you to overwrite these with your own effects, though. That’d be pretty useful. Definitely more useful than only having only four programmable buttons.Music Only, Side Chain, and Loop Back work as expected. No complaints! The De-Noise button, however, cuts words off very abruptly causing some distortion if you have a lot of short pauses and it will take practice to use. If you speak clearly and fluidly, this may not be an issue for you…I, however…pause often… Luckily, with the foam cover on it there isn’t much background noise on the recordings anyway. I didn’t use the De-Noise button, and I didn’t have to do any cleanup in post. The auto-tune works really well overall. I’m not much of a singer, but I imagine this could be useful for someone who wants to do a little bit of music work. There are definitely a plethora of outputs and in inputs to facilitate song production for someone just starting out.My recording software picked the device right up. Output through USB-C to PC was flawless. I didn’t have any issue crossfading through the sound effects or music (using my MP3 player). It just worked really well and is pretty intuitive. Big labeled buttons and wheels are a lot easier to understand than thirty tiny knobs like my first console.MICROPHONE:The included microphone is just okay. It’s going to give you a voice-over sound, but it isn’t anything special. I would absolutely advise investing in either a quality lapel mic or even a shotgun mic or two to pair with this. It has TWO microphone inputs so you can easily set this up for interviews during a podcast. I prefer the audio I get using a powered shotgun mic with built-in gain settings. One thing I want to make note of here is that this does NOT supply enough power to run other XLR microphones through the console and included XLR to 3.5mm cable. I have not tried using this in conjunction with a phantom power supply, however….If you plan to, do so at your own risk! It does provide enough oomph to power basic shotgun mics, desktop microphones, and all other mics natively meant for or compatible with the 3.5mm jack.CONCLUSION:If you’re just starting and want a solid audio experience that just works and doesn’t have a huge learning curve…This thing is great. This is absolutely podcast making gold, even using the included beginner microphone. If you have a good 3.5mm mic, I can see this being a great upgrade to more inexpensive consoles. If you’ve got a nice console already, this isn’t going to bring you much you don’t already have. For me, this is a total upgrade. I’m still experimenting with different microphones, but the console itself is well worth it.

Easy set up, amazing sound quality of mic and recording and great starter set for podcast
Hands down this is such a great little powerful starter podcast set up. Easy to setup and use. The mic that comes with it sounds amazing. You would never know how inexpensive this bundle is when listening to your podcast recording. I bought this bundle set because I wanted to start a podcast for 8 years and I was so intimidated. I didnât want to spend a lot of money either. I said to myself letâs start small and build on it. So happy I did! This set is such a game changer and I finally started my podcast and I owe it to this great bundle. 5 stars and more from CamyFIT For Life

Excellent Customer Service
(UPDATED)Having spent some time trying to perfect this equipment I have to say it was not a good purchase for my needs. The seller XIBO was very quick to reply and suggested an upgrade model to better fit my needs though and was very accommodating and professional. I have left my original review, but updated the rating to better reflect how I feel overall, as I may have had a defective unit, please take that into consideration.Cons;â¢The provided microphone is possibly one of the worst on the market. You have to yell in order for it to register your voice and even when you do your audio will be to quiet for whoever you’re talking to to hear you (even with aftermarket audio software boosting my voice by 50dB)â¢The 2 audio sliders; echo & mic monitoring. Echo slider does nothing. Monitoring slider works, but if also controls the headset volume so the more you turn it down the less you can hear overall.â¢Built in sound effect preset buttons; feel dated and take up space, the programmable ones are decent when they work.Pros;â¢Audio & voice changer presets are… decent but IMO can be accomplished with free softwareâ¢Bluetooth works wellâ¢Looks nice

Good stuff
I bought this to do the pinewood derby race for the Cub Scouts and I have a way to broadcast it. This worked great easy to use. Instructions are easy to follow. I ended up using it for podcast and even sales on my Whatnot page. Great product.

The Maono soundcard is definitely worth the buy! Iâve been using it for over 2 years now, and it still works great. It delivers nice sound quality, perfect for making content like my ukulele videos. Itâs versatile too works well with phones and laptops.

Podcast Equipment Bundle-MAONO MaonoCaster LiteIt’s a very sturdy, portable, and handy podcast equipment. You get everything you need in one box for you to be able to stream your podcast to four gadgets – it comes with all the cables you need to do so, plus a mobile device adapter to prevent power draw from your mobile device. There’s a USB c port for when you need to get data and power off a laptop, although it has its rechargeable battery. There is a microphone with a tripod provided, and although it’s not really the best quality, when I tried it, it picked up sounds from the table it was on, so you may have to be mindful of that even with the noise-canceling button turned on. There are two microphone inputs, and these won’t fit an xlr or 1/4-inch cable, so you may have to keep that in mind when you get a replacement. Otherwise, find adaptors online. The microphone comes with an xlr to 1/8 port cord, quite a good length, and quality. There are rubber legs on the bottom, so it doesn’t necessarily move around, and the lights are perfect for a dark room – there’s a switch if you need them off too. There is a music input for you to play music on the mixer, and it has an output for a headset, so you hear everything from the mixer and the microphone. If you’re into singing, however, it doesn’t totally tune out the vocals from a song, and that’s fine for the price anyway. I also tried the output for streaming, and the volume is not that satisfactory, especially with other people using their pods simultaneously. But I’m guessing I needed to turn the volume all the way up.The best feature so far is that you can record your effects (for example, your voice from the microphone), And the auto-tune can change it if you don’t like the sound of your voice. So, there is no holding back from achieving your dream of becoming the best voice actor, DJ, or podcaster.I would recommend this product as a gift to gamers, vloggers, and any aspiring social media entertainers.
