You get what you pay for.
What a huge difference in quality, workmanship, and feel between the cheap less than $100 helmets Iâve purchased in the pass, and I bought many versus this $300 helmet. Well worth the extra money. The value is perceived by the higher quality material used. The strap material and latching mechanism is metal instead of plastic. The padding and cushioning definitely has a higher build quality without making the helmet heavy. It snug fit but not too tight. I havenât tried removing the inner pads but it looks pretty simple. The exterior is real carbon fiber with a glossy coating. Looks great. The removable mask is thicker with padding on the inside which the cheaper models do not. I can actually put the mark on my face with one hand and secure the double locks with a light tap. Overall this helmet looks and feels great and Iâm sure it will protect my head in a crash or accident. Very pleased with this purchase.
