Awesome update for our home.
When our thermostat for the heat beneath our stone bathroom floor died after 10 years, and without knowing about compatibility, etc., took a chance on this because we liked the looks of it. And that it clearly stated it was for floors. It arrived very quickly well packaged. The labeling on the wiring of our old one didnât quite match up, but we figured it out, installed it, heated up the floor, .. but had trouble connecting to the Wi-Fi. Felt like we tried everything. Then I tried to contact company, I always get nervous when I canât find an 800 number so I sent an email.Long story short, we could not be happier with the service and support we received in several emails over several days. I played around with the settings on my router and finally , success! But in the meantime, Lily had offered suggestions and options for replacement. We really appreciated the concern. We have a thermostat that we are very happy with, that we can set an Auto program and that we can operate when weâre not even homeâ¦. And a company that I feel confident purchasing from again.

A nice themostat tht fits in a standard outlet box.
Connected easily but I am concerned about the terminal strip contacts, can they handle 15 amps continuously or will they overheat and smoke the device?? It did connect but only after several resets. I like that it will go down to freezing as I need it to control heat to prevent freezing but not waste power on more than that.

Been happy with it.
Works well, sent a message to support about a function and got prompt response. Works with my Smart Life app which is nice, I didn’t need another app just for this.

240?
The instructions is not clear where to set 240 wire in, I am very familiar with electrical. No customer service phone number, a wiring diagram for 120 and 240 would help

Clean display, easy to read, real customer support!
This is a beautiful thermostat, clean display with no extra advertizing or annoyances. It’s extremely easy to read – even without your glasses. And I’m pretty sure there are more features to come as the Support people are friendly, responsive, and want (and deserve) your business. So far, I’ve had great communications and looking forward to their promised changes…

Not suitable for 240v Ditra floor
Tested all resistances of layed heated floor and insulation with Megameter. Kept tripping breaker. Replaced with Ditra-heat thermostat and had no issues.

Very good, but watch out
I bought this floor-heat thermostat to replace my 12-year-old Nuheat.FWIW, the Nuheat gave up the ghost with the unhelpful error code for âEnd of Life.â Planned obsolescence? Perhaps. All the other thermostats in my house (3 of them), are older â but I do expect them to last indefinitely, until something actually breaks!Anyway, the good news is that the new thermostat is electrically a âdrop inâ for the Nuheat. I connected it up (really easy: transfer six wires from old to new), and when I turned the circuit breaker back on it started working, and everything tested ok. Note that it looks different from the old unit, but definitely more modern and nice looking. Also, it is much easier to read, especially without glasses when stepping out of the shower. It is also much less expensive than getting a replacement made by Nuheat â about 1/4 the price! Not only that, but it has more features than the old unit, such as Internet / WiFi connectivity (but more on that below). So, if itâs so great, then why did I rate it 3 stars? I have two major issues, and one small one:First, the small issue: It has no clock. The Nuheat had a clock that was handy to have in the bathroom; even though it was a bit small and hard to read for my old eyes. But Iâll miss knowing how late I am when I finish my shower. Now, the First Major Issue: The unit does not quite fit into a standard metal electrical box. Itâs about 1/8- to 1/4-inch too wide! The only way I could make it fit was to grind and file out the box opening with my Dremel tool. It took about an hour, but eventually I mounted it in the same box that the old thermostat used to be in. If you are not handy with tools, you might want to check the dimensions of the electrical box you have. If itâs a plastic electrical box, it might not have the same problem, but if itâs metal, beware.Second Major Issue: Read the User Agreement and Privacy Statement! The User Agreement has a whole section saying you must agree to support the (presumably Chinese) Constitution and laws. I donât know if that section has any legal effect here in the USA, but it certainly bothers me! Furthermore, the Privacy Statement, by my reading, says that if you put the unit onto your home WiFi, they have the right to monitor your network traffic and send information, explicitly including passwords and private information, to China. Personally, it bothers me enough that I am leaving the unit in âmanualâ mode, and not connecting it to WiFi. I have to admit that the WiFi enabled features are attractive and may even be useful, but not enough to get me to use them. Fortunately, itâs simple to run the unit from its front panel, and never give it your WiFi credentials. If you donât enable WiFi, there will be a few optional features you wonât be able to use, such as timed setbacks, Alexa/Google integration, and calibration of the floor and ambient air temperature sensors. It works great without these features!

Works
Not sure what the negative reviews about. Fits kna standard single pole plastic electrical box. If you have the older metal ones with random protrusions, you might have a problem. The only bad thing I have to say was the wiring instructions could have been a little clear but it’s all there. Took about 40 minutes to install including app setup.
