Affordable little body camera that works well
This is a very nice and basic body camera that can be used in a variety of settings to take videos and still images. The resolution is quite decent, itâs easy to use, and it holds a charge very well.Obviously, this is not going to take the place of a high-resolution action camera that has image stabilization, and all the pricey bells and whistles, but thatâs not what this is for. This is for casual use, like if youâre taking a bike ride, or walking around. Itâs a great little safety device, too, to have thatâs unobtrusive and lightweight. Thatâs what I plan to use it for.You donât have to mess with an app or Wi-Fi. It is extremely easy to view and download images and videos. The company even gives you a card reader if you want to take the microSD card out and use that, versus the cable which you can attach to your phone or your PC.I was very happy to get the card reader as a bonus, as well as the USB-C/USB-C cable. It also comes with accessories to attach it to a tripod, etc., if you donât want to clip it on to your shirt or jacket. And it is magnetic, so thatâs very helpful. And it comes with a sticky magnet pad.It clips on well, and is very lightweight, though nice and sturdy, and all the places you need to get to are easily accessible, like the buttons and the microSD slot, and the USB-C port.As I said, this is a basic camera, and itâs very easy to use, the instructions are straightforward. There are videos you can watch that are accessible via QR code, but the instruction booklet it comes with does a pretty good job. The only thing thatâs a little confusing is how to use the motion activated function. The instructions tell you to push a button that the camera doesnât have, but I clarified this with the company, and the button that activates this function is the same button you use to snap a still image.Once you fool around with this a bit, youâll get the hang of it. Both in terms of operation/functions, and how best to use it. You have to do some trial and error, but thatâs easy, because itâs a snap to plug it in and get images off to see how youâre doing.Iâm really enjoying this little gadget, and I got it at such a good price I really donât worry about bumming around with it.

When dealing with the public there are often times that an employee will often need to document an encounter. This body cam is well built, comes with several accessories & works great. I’ve already used it at work & it has proved invaluable.It records video in AVI format so if your device(s) do not support that format, it’s best to download an AVI to MOV file converter.I’ve recorded & immediately transferred the file directly to my phone, converted it to a MOV file & texted it to my supervisor – all within minutes.The body cam is also capable of audio recording only & still photos.It can be easily clipped to a breast pocket or neck of a T-shirt. The backside of the integral clip has two magnets allowing it to be placed anywhere on a metal surface if needed.Well made, great price, easily charged and operated.

for daytime use, try different media players if no sound
I was in need of a body cam, and when I saw this one I thought that it was worth a try. It was compact, and the price was right! The directions were a bit challenging to follow, so I tried scanning and getting a video. That was a little better. Anyway, I fooled with it and got it to work. Much to my surprise it worked very well! The videos were clear and the sound was good. I thought at first that there was a problem with the sound, but I switched players and got the sound to work just fine. I tried it in low light conditions, and it will not work very well in the dark, but for my needs it was an excellent product for me.

This body cam is great for recording issues you might face in public. It is small, portable, and lightweight. It is very simple to use. So far with the few times I have used it I have had great quality videos and zero issues with it. This was even just taking it out of the box and not checking the charge.

If you find yourself in the unfortunate situation of having to record interactions with someone and can never be sure of where they would appear, this camera is a great choice. You can keep it in a pocket or purse for when you need it and then clip it to wherever you need it (I clipped it to my jacket or cross body bag strap).I first purchased a similar camera but hated having to take the miniscule SD memory card in and out to review the videos. I returned it and bought this camera that has a cable to my computer to view the videos.The instructions are pretty simple and the buttons are clear and easy to operate. The camera is very easy to turn off when you do not want an interaction recorded.It worked wonderfully for the first two months of daily use but then would not record. I contacted the customer service email on the instructions and someone quickly responded and assisted me. The rep was AMAZING. The person helping sent me clear directions and I sent screen shots back, and then they sent me a video that was easy to follow and solved the problem quickly and easily. I had my camera back up and running in no time.

100% GARBAGE!
For some reason, you put the camera on your chest facing forward, and what it records is the sky, not what you’re seeing straight ahead. Then, the camera won’t connect to any of my three computers, and when I manage to connect it via the adapter because the camera doesn’t connect directly, it freezes my computer, and I also couldn’t delete the little footage I recorded. It’s a real headache.
